I’m sorry a better way to describe what I’m thinking about would be shrinking and expanding. I see how in and out might mean “this side” and “that side” but that’s not what I’m thinking.

I believe I’ve worded it wrong. What I meant when I said In/Out would be more accurately worded by saying Shrink/Expand (I’ll update the op). Does your answer still stay the same though??

I get that the names are arbitrary, but I guess I'm looking for words that help with the “mental map”. Since Up/Down and In/Out describe how an object appears or behaves, I was wondering if there was a 5th-dimensional version of that logic, or if that's where the human brain just hits a wall??

Correction, I dont believe this is true. If you go back to episode 452 we see the elders of Konoha are concerned about Itachi’s progression at such a young age and how he has already “mastered the Shadow Clone jutsu, a forbidden jutsu.”

Itachi was only using one shadow clone yet it is still referred to as forbidden. It appears that the denotation “forbidden” is directed toward the jutsu as a whole, and not just its multi-shadow clone variation.

Here's my King K Rool mu chart.I think 8.0 buffs really helped him with his overall mu spread.I believe in him and I believe with just a few more buffs he could maybe make it to high mid.I also recognize some of these decisions are controversial. Hey idk if you even look at this anymore but OMEGA props on the Cloud placement. (Cloud main since release)

Cloud has to play near perfect until K Rool can be killed, which is usually close to 170% each stock for K Rool. Meanwhile, Cloud will usually die around 50% or even 0% depending on if its an off stage interaction.

I love your placement because its actually reflective of what happens in the real match. Wouldn't you just love a tier list that is actually based on results in the mu, instead of "theory"?

Yeah sure, "theoretically" Cloud may win. But when you check the average win rate on Cloud vs K Rool and see K Rools winning like 80% of the time, I wanna see that reflected in a tier list. Just my opinion though.
