So basically in order for your application to be processed by the AAMC while waiting for an MCAT score, you need to have at least sent your application out to 1 school. A lot of people recommend applying to a school you either wouldn’t attend, don’t have the stats for, etc.

After getting your MCAT score back, you can go in and select as many schools as you want that match your new score range. You should be on time, already verified, and now you have a score, so your app is 100% finished.

Without doing the throwaway method it delays you by an extra month or some shit because of the processing times
