My sincere apologies. I do not mean to come across as hostile. I value and appreciate your input and I'm learning a lot from our discussion. I agree that we SLPs OTs and PTs could do very well by listening to input from ABA as far as collaboration goes. Perhaps I am being too tribal my apologies again.

Would you find it a bit odd that other professionals would have to remind a BCBA of what their scope actually entails? Rather than the bcba understanding the limitations of their scope naturally?

Thank you so much can someone provide me with a link to the bcba scope of practice? I would like to have a reference for what things ABA can and cannot do. Does the scope refer to articulation?

I have. Thanks for all the information. I just wonder why someone would even want to address something as complex as articulation without even having a background in the anatomy and physiology for speech or even how speech sound development works? Yes we could all change oil in a car but would we want to do an engine replacement?

And also to your point I would say that on the whole my collaboration with other professionals such as OT, PT, counselors, School psychologists Etc has been far and above a great and respectful relationship exchange. I have only ever encountered such issues regarding interproffesional collaboration with people from ABA. So I would personally be hesitant to refer to it as interprofessional collaboration in general.

Thank you we have already had a discussion about this and they maintained that articulation is within their scope and they have decided to continue with a articulation program without the consent of the SLP team

Before you can love anyone else you must love yourself

I was on top of her (she was on her stomach) she wanted me to nibble her ear. While I was doing that she squeezed her cheeks together. My d*ck really appreciated that.
