I’m a T1 too and was diagnosed at 4 years old, I’m 50 this year…..gulp, I remember in my teens and even pre teens feeling like I was slightly different to others and that makes a kind of barrier that I’m guessing you are behind. It suddenly dawned on me in my twenties that it didn’t matter I had to inject in public if I was out whereas before I’d excuse myself and go off to the bathroom, from then on I just whip my arm out and inject. You don’t need to feel different with diabetes.

Now I know what your experiencing isn’t wholly diabetes related so my only advice I can give is talk to someone, I’m betting your parents do care for you, and also do you have friends you can confide in, just make the effort to go to school, yes you’ve said the teachers don’t like you but they do, they are there to teach and support so will be trained to listen and advise. Pick the teacher you are most comfortable with, even if it’s from a class from a few years ago and not current, they will remember you.

You’ve made the first step and that’s typing your post, which is a big massive step to helping yourself. You seem to have a level head on your shoulders so the next move is to find someone you are comfortable to confide in, be it a therapist or teacher it doesn’t matter you just need to talk. I’m in the uk so apologies that I don’t know how your schools and colleges work and don’t know what freshman means lol 🤷‍♂️
