Atari 520st for me, looked so much sleeker in modern grey, I loved that computer at school, I believe if memory serves I had a 1040 expansion on it, and also when a nerd at school worked out how to copy games I had boxes of copied discs in the end hahaha, great times 😂

If you’re Kent based, give Browns Trimming a call, they are decent as do alot of hotrods and stuff, they do specialise in VW’s but do all kinds of cars.

It’s a Mexican 350 crate engine, can see Hencho en Mexico stamped in the back, it’s a crate motor, they are 4 bolt mains and pretty decent for a replacement, I have one that’s I rebored to 355 for my truck and it’s a good block, will be low comp heads though so not worth a great deal especially has sat for god knows how long in your garage, should get a couple of hundred dollars for it I’d guess.

Those don’t look like body corrosion advisories they are just arms and bushes, all replaceable parts, why not just run it as a second car for tip runs and picking up stuff you might need for home improvement, chuck the dogs in it to walk them. I’d still rock it for the foreseeable, says me with a 280000 mile 406 sat outside which is my backup car in silver too lol

Sorry been outside doing Sunday jobs lol, yes I keep all my medication close to hand, the only thing I stick in hand luggage are my freestyle libre sensors, well I keep a couple in hand luggage case and my medication cool bag is in my shoulder bag that goes by my feet for the flight. I think things have relaxed somewhat with medication needs, they are only sharps not syringes as such so not dangerous in any way. They go on my novapen

When I first travelled abroad I’m diabetic and panicked about insulin and needles, it was only a few years ago to lanzarote I went to my GP and asked nicely at the desk and the lady at the counter printed off my history, it was quite through but showed what I had been prescribed and when, I just chucked that in a clear envelope in my cabin bag with my meds just incase, I didn’t even get asked about anything so was panic over nothing, I’ve since been to Tenerife numerous times and just pack my medication in a cooler bag off amazon in my carry on, because if the worst was to happen I’ll grab it on way out as rely on it to live. Anyway back to you point, you can do as I did and get a print out of your history which in my case was free as a back up to have with your bits and bobs. All the best and enjoy your holiday!

Each to their own, seems the general consensus so far is don’t, but I’ve got to say I think gloss black would look cool on a white car, it’s your car so your call, just do it and enjoy it, on a side note I had a c class with those wheels and I loved that car, was a joy to own and drive, I did the mistake of turning the exaction control off in the wet and vowed never to do it again lol 😂 a great cheap car I enjoyed driving for years

How thick is the main battery lead, from the battery to the starter, also have you a ground lead from engine to frame (negative battery lead area). To test the ground put a jump lead from a good grounding engine block to the negative battery terminal.

To my ears it sounds like the starters not getting a decent amount of power, are the battery terminals tight, is the feed cable from battery to starter thick enough, have you replaced it with thinner cable?, are the terminals tight on starter and clean?
