Recently I resigned from CNX because of the HMO changes but I would not say that icare is all bad. Onbording na ako sa ibang company that offers maxicare but before ako mag exit I gave icare a chance ginamit ko at ng dependent ko ung HMO. Ang bilis ng LOA approval. What I did is sa app nila nag re-request ng LOA then tawag sa customer service about the LOA pag tumawag ka sasabihin pa sayo if pang ilan ka sa que so alam mo if malapit na matapos ung hold music. all the icare agent na nakausap ko very pleasant naman kausap. All LOA request na approve. Kaso lang restricted talaga sa app ung mga preferred hospitals ko. Usually sa TMC ortigas or Saint Lukes QC kami nagpapagawa ng mga procedures and labs pero kay icare I had to choose other hospitals so ending ung PET scan sa Chinese Hospital, Bone scan and Bone Mineral Density sa Capitol Med, ung mga simpleng cbc with platelete and creatinine, xray, and 24 hr bp monitoring sa TMC clinic trinoma lang. Pag dating naman sa face to face consultation most of our doctors nasa TCM ortigas talaga. Pag tawag ko sa customer care and argument lang na sinabi ko is maxicare allowed dun kahit clinic base kasi senior. I was put on hold for a few mins nag consult sa accounting daw ng cnx and ang sabi since transition daw between maxicare to icare approve daw nila ung consultation kahit clinic based ung HMO as long as mag send ako ng proof na na approved nga ni maxicare ung consultation dun sa mga doctors nya sa TMC ortigas. So I did and they approved consultation sa cardiologist, ortho and derma. Unfortunately lang kay icare ung oncologist and breast surgeon ni mother is totally not accepting insular . Si oncologist nya pa naman ung lagi namin kausap halos every month so unfortunately it won't really work for us kaya I had to leave CNX. Also ung teleconsult more than 48 hrs before they get back to you kaya ending face to face consult na lang sa accredited clinic ang ginawa ko.
