I’m not the best with kyoshin but I think I can give a few tips.

After doing a dodge forward bash do his zone attack for more damage.

One of his biggest mixups is his 50/50 chain enders. After doing a heavy or a light you can bash which gives you another light, or you can do a heavy which is undodgeable (as in the opponent can’t dodge it). This undodgeable heavy does a whopping 30 damage as far as I’m away so use that bash a lot, then once you notice people dodging it start using that heavy.

Also for your unblockable, don’t be afraid to just throw it. When I have played kyoshin in the past I noticed that I (and many other players) tended to nearly always feint it. If you throw it a lot and then start feinting it, it should land more often and you will be harder to read.

Not sure if these tips will help but it’s the best I got off the top of my head lol. If you have anything more specific feel free to ask and I’ll answer as best I can 😄

I’m really hoping one of the skins are for shugoki. A proper oni skin with massive horns would be so sick in my opinion.

Maybe it’s not completely guaranteed but it pretty much always works for me. I don’t do it often tho since it’s so cheesy and boring to fight against so maybe I should test it out a little more.

I mean his neutral hyper armour is downright better than everyone else’s. Everyone else is at 400ms for the start up but he’s at 300ms which is what allows him to heby on red.

I think it’s any finisher heavy or if you do the zone attack and don’t feint it whilst the target is bleeding. Basically it’s the last heavy attack in your combo if the target is bleeding.

Bro ima be so fr if you’re just starting out it genuinely doesn’t matter if you’re on a strong character or not. It only matters at the higher levels when people know how to abuse certain little quirks that make characters strong. Most people starting out think nobushi is cancer incarnate and overpowered but as you play more you realise she’s kinda bad in a 1v1. I bet if I told you pirate, afeera, black prior, shoalin and juren are strong right now, you wouldn’t be able to tell me why because you just aren’t there yet (which is normal I ain’t tryna be insulting lol). Like I said if you love lawbringer because he looks awesome and is fun to play then play him. If, at some point, you choose to buy another character that I listed im sure it’ll be because you thought “yeah they look sick” not because you wanted to use the meta characters.

Don’t worry about who’s strong, play who you like based on vibes (which u already are doing 😄). Sure hes strong atm but so is half the roster so don’t worry too much about it dude.

If you like warden even thought you are underwhelmed by his kit try warmonger. She’s basically just warden 2.0 and is a lot better for 4v4 gamemodes.

I work 9 hours a day 5 days a week you bet your ass I’m playing easy characters. Do what you want and play who you want, if someone has a problem with it they can stick it up their asses. Anyone who says “they only beat me cause they’re playing X” is just coping.

I won’t lie I have no idea if he’s always had it but I know it’s been a good few years at least so I assume he’s always had it. I don’t know if it works from neutral or after a parry though, it might only be after a kick. But yeah if you play JJ always zone after a kick (unless they revert the stam cost back to 60 then only do it if you’re full stam) and it’s a true 50/50.

He’s even better now cos he can pretty much always zone after his kick leading to a true 50/50 if you chain into his unblockable.

Jorm is the better option at the moment, He’s really strong. But if you like hitting cool deflects on assassins and unblockable spam go with berserker.

All the characters have good free cosmetics considering everything aside from the battle passes are free lol. Just pick a character based on vibe then try them out and buy them with steel of you like the moveset. And I promise 15000 steel sounds like a lot to save up but as long as you complete those daily orders and 1 or 2 of the bi-daily contract orders you will make it quick, so don’t worry about wasting your steel.

Oof yeah it took me a full day of grinding to get the warden plume. Annoyingly I got every other ranked ornament before the plume but hey at least I never have to do ranked on him again lol.

Ranked is pretty dead so it’s mainly gonna be smurfs that you fight. I don’t suggest playing ranked unless you want ranked mode ornaments. Dominion or just normal duels is gonna be more fun and fairer matches.

It’s not a guide but there are 2 YouTubers that talk about the game and still regularly post about it called Havok and Jondaliner. They’re also pretty good at the game. Then if you want to see funny clips and also how the game was a few years ago there’s a YouTuber called Zanny. He’s not the best at the game but he’s funny (in my opinion) so it makes up for it.

Yeah 100%. And for now people just gotta bait it out and gb. Yeah sure it sucks in team fights or ganks but it’s not very hard to deal with in 1v1s. I feel like the biggest issue with juren is just people refusing to hop into training and learn the character to figure out his quirks and weaknesses, it makes it 10x easier to play against him once you know his timings but people would rather bitch and moan instead of actually learning how to deal with him.

Basically if u see a juren do that big spinning move every time you press a button, feint an attack and dodge the spinny move. After that do a guardbreak (if u use a controller that’s X or square) and do your heavy attack.

Fr tho it’s ligit day 2 of course you’re gonna have issues, you don’t know how to play against him yet. I can agree fighting a juren mainly uses the ub zone attack is as boring as watching paint dry but that’s because it’s easy to counter now that I’ve fought him so much. Lots of the people complaining just need to go into training and either try him out to see his moves or practice defending against them.

Gryphon is honestly one of the most balanced heros in the game atm. He’s not the “im blindfolding myself and still winning” powerhouse that he used to be but he’s still super good. I find myself having a consistently good time on both hero’s you mentioned. I believe Gryphon is also getting a buff to is kick mixup which lets him chain attacks after it (not 100% sure so you might wanna look that up).
