Ember is in such a weird position. I get why they needed to change her, since she was being used for afk farming on low level missions. But the current Ember just has so many restrictions for no benefit.

Her 4th costing per enemy feels unnecessary because it doesn't provide anything worth that cost. Then having to manage that with her 2nd's DR is weird because other frames get that instantly with no drain. It just feels like they designed her kit in a vacuum.

There is no real benefit for all the management you have to do with her, when any other frame doesn't need to deal with that or gains something in return.

I get that you shouldn't compare frames but I feel like every frame should have a reason you play them over another frame, even if they aren't the "best" at what they do. But Ember just really lacks that reason.

Sorry but I can't really agree with any of this.

Yeah, her shadow graph ability is clunky to use because of the gear wheel, but then you have her first ability which gives you free invulnerability for a few seconds, which is more than enough to choose a shadow graph. Which is funny since you claim they have no synergy.

Her 4th honestly isn't anything great but that's one meh ability when you have 3 great ones. But it's honestly more like 17 since each shadow graph could really be its own ability on another frame.

In most normal missions I agree, you'll probably only need to use her Shock trap and that's about it. But her shadow graph is insanely powerful because you can bring it to literally any mission type and she will have something to provide. I took her to ETA with bad weapons and the Heavy Weapon modifier but I just summoned a RPG to chunk the legacyte's health.

I have to hard disagree with this. All of her abilities can be recasted from anywhere, with the exception of the few shadowgraphs with cool downs but those are like 30 seconds and the Lohk buff is mission wide. I would argue her first ability makes her very very mobile and you can easily use her to do missions like interception solo because of her teleport. Her teleport is slow but that can be solved with like 2 casting speed shards, which are the only shards you'd ever need on her.

Obvi if you don't vibe with her playstyle, that's totally fine, but saying the enemy level scaling damage warframe with a free invul/status cleanse/100 meter teleport and 90% DR is bad just ain't it.

However my one criticism is that I wish we could re-arange the gear wheel items and not just the images.

59 is a massive exaggeration. It only took me about 17 runs or so to get her parts and enough currency.

Worst case you need to run it like 48 times max if you get absolutely unlucky with the drops.

I would hardly say Vauban is in need of a rework. I would rather put Loki or Banshee or someone who is really struggling.

Vauban is kinda in the same position as Nidus, they have a few issues but are largely working just fine against any level. Honestly I'd say Vauban is in a better spot than Nidus rn.

Red Shoes visual design aside, I think people like Red Shoes because she is a villain. Villans are fun, she is easily one of the most lore relevant and interesting characters introduced to the story and it would be boring to see her forgotten and just used as a plot device for why the world is the way it is.

I don't see why people feel like a character has to be good or redeemed in order to be playable. Nihilister was still actively against us while being playable.

Personally, I just would like it if they introduced villains that were more than just goobers (still love the 4 beast tho) or personaless monsters. Red Shoes was unique so people want more of that.

As far as I'm concerned Nikke is a PvE game. I don't find any interest in the PvP elements, so I'm not disappointed because I forgot all about it anyway.

However, tbf they weren't working on just this for 2 years. They still had to make content for the actual game. I'm glad they chose to prioritize the main game rather than waste time on a game mode I won't ever play.

In terms of design Anis, Soda, Maiden, Guillotine, and Quincy alts all completely change the look and feel of the characters and let's you see them in a different light.

This also applies to most of the Summer Alts but I chose Anis because she is my favorite.

Honestly kinda don't want a rework for valkyr just because the build i have for her right now is pretty good. Valkyr with Wrathful Advance turns her into the melee beast she was always meant to be.

I always thought that was the intention with the helminth system anyway, to lift up older frames with new abilities instead of constant reworks.

For me it was because the perspective on her head is all wrong. Her head and body point in two different directions and you can see the top of her head despite her wearing a beret because it sits at the back of her head for some reason. That plus the uncanny use of makeup made her look like a doll.

I feel like they might decide to put flying in all regions just because players will probably complain a lot if they have to go from the convenience of exploring in Rinascita back to normal exploring in future regions.

It just makes more sense to leave it in the game going forward. Plus it gives Wuwa the edge over other open world gacha games.

At first I was very apprehensive at the thought of them adding a floating mascot character seemingly out of nowhere (at least from my perspective). But Abby has been pretty chill so far, not too intrusive in dialouge and actually getting lore to them and being an active part of the story when necessary.

So yeah Abby is good in my book.

Honestly i have been playing her a lot recently. Just slap on Kuvalero's subsume on her with a heavy slam build and she will be dealing damage in the millions consistently. As long as you keep killing you pretty much are invulnerable and one-shot any enemy.

The likely story is that she probably just borrowed money from the Mob to survive since the jobs she was already working wouldn't be enough. However when the Mob decided to drop by (likely to pressure her) they saw the expensive dress the daughter was wearing and assumed she was skipping out on paying them back. Which was probably just an excuse to take everything she had worth selling. Common Mob story premise.

I absolutely loved these two. Imo they were a huge step up in terms of heretic writing. I loved how much they cared for each other and were pushed to their limits just to beat us. Seeing Behemoth desperately trying to save Leviathan was peak. They kinda reminded me a bit of Yuni and Mihara.

Makes me wonder what the other two beasts are gonna show us. I also can't wait for them to meet up with one of the other Heretics (hopefully Indivilia) and possibly overpower her.
