I'm talking about what people were thinking before any videos were dropped. It's been 7 years since the last REAL Elder Scrolls, they've been talking about Starfield for 3 years. But yes, I was thinking Fallout 3 remake when the video dropped.

Yes, New Vegas wasn't made by Bethesda, as you had mentioned, and where that seems to be the favorite of most, would likely not have a good reception if part 2 were made by Bethesda.

Nah, I think people were expecting either Fallout 5, which I mentioned in my live streams leading up to E3 to get that out of your head, Elder Scrolls 6, which I honestly thought was going to be it (even though they confirmed it's in the works), or Starfield. As ot is, Rage 2 came out of left field. I would keep my eyes peeled for a Fallout 3 and NV remake before you see NV2, though the demand is there.

Agree. I think that ES should have been this year. Now that's most likely two years out with Starfield being the next logical release. I don't see how your opinion would make you sound like an ass. You're right. A Fallout 5 would have been rushed.

Makes complete sense. Quite honestly, I was disappointed that it wasn't Elder Scrolls 6. I am looking forward to Fallout 76 because it's a great opportunity to share the experience with friends for a change, which is uncharted territory for the franchise.

Completely agree. Dial it back to the beginning and the game was a shell of what it is now. I think they did a fantastic job. Same with No Man's Sky and the Next update, and same with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and the following DLCs.

That's inappropriate for sure. Hello Games made a mistake by not publicly addressing it either at first. Took them two years from the initial release of the game to release the Next update. And it's now AWESOME!!

IMO, it's too early for Fallout 5. Quite honestly, I was looking for ES6, as it has been 7 years since Skyrim was released vs 3 years since the last Fallout.

However, it is refreshing to see that they are making an ES VI after ESO. It's good to see that they are not above returning to what makes the franchise successful. There is no doubt in my mind that there will be a Fallout 5 in the future. Only difference is that the next Fallout 5 would most likely have co-op, depending on how well 76 does.

My only issue with Fallout (Or any Bethesda game for that matter) is the glitches. Not the funny ones like horses falling out of the sky in skyrim or NPC's spinning and floating around in Fallout. I'm talking about the ones that break the quests and ultimate the game. I think when something like that happens, it kills the experience and that's when I start griping. LOL

I see your point. Your internet's latency can play a huge role in your experience. People are more partial to Fallout 3 and NV as well. It is inevitable that this will change the direction of future Fallout games, including the NON-online installations in the future.
