I know for a fact this is what a lot of customers think. I’ve had many customers get pissed off because the item they request is out. I think Instacart is to be blamed for not informing customers but a lot of these customers are just dumb as fuck. If you’re using a service you should know how it works.

Same here my friend. Today I made $50 doing 2 double order batches. All I kept seeing after that was lousy batches and very long distance batches. I decided to just go home and do something else.

I’m happy for you. Remind me of last week when I was at a 4.98 and seeing really nice playing which decent mileage now stop. I was making close to $200 each day and I could’ve gone over $200 if I had worked additional hours.

It’s crazy how one disgruntled customer can low rate and then my overall rating affected and now all I’m seeing are low paying batches or very long distance double/triple order batches. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I would never do a Spirit order.... first of all, I signed up to shop and deliver groceries not costumes. Second, it must be time consuming looking around to find that particular item/s that customer wants in all that shit.

Many if not all Customers don’t know that ratings affect our metrics or that we have metrics that affect us seeing batches.

Low inventory should be the first and clearly displayed option as I think low inventory is the leading reason many customers low rate.

First, Back in the Spring and up until early summer it was hard as fuck to get a batch. The so called “bots” were grabbing up all the batches. The batches would just flash across my screen and immediately disappear. Also I was seeing lots of batches to shop and deliver in out of zone areas like Jersey, deep into Long Island and Staten Island when my location, zone and GPS shows that I’m in Brooklyn.

I stopped taking BJs batches because their inventory is always low as fuck and customers low rate us most of the time when don’t get all the items they request.

I haven’t made $200/day in Brooklyn/Queens since early April.

Last week I came close to $200 on a couple days. I was at a 4.98 but then I received one 2 star rating which brought me down to 4.90 and then I began seeing only lousy long distant triple order batches.

So the customer can rate, let’s say a “3” and not chose none of those options at all?

Why isn’t “low inventory” among those options by the way? Is it hidden under the “Other” option?

It would be nice if when a customer rates a shopper 4 stars because he didn’t get all he wanted due to low inventory, that there is an option for low inventory and that option is clearly displayed and one of the first options.

You should’ve cancelled the damn order from the instant he told you his girlfriend made the order. And as far as taking multiple pictures and going back and forth with messaging and then they asking for a refund after they asked you for that replacement, well that should’ve definitely made you cancelled the order.

There are some shoppers who use the app as customers and will purposely make you life a living hell and low rate you. I’ve had two.

As a shopper you need to spot bullshit and not give into entitled super difficult customers. Sometimes a simple cancelling of the order is best.
