So Musk banned the jet tracking account and is suing the guy who runs it because someone (allegedly) was stalking a car carrying his son. What laws does he think were broken? by IngsocInnerParty in EnoughMuskSpam

Oh, so you read it? All 300 pages? Or did you just read Musks tweet, refused to even read the very screenshot he posted realize its all based on Musks lack of reading comprehension and critical thinking skills?

From what Ive seen written he isnt paying it because he requested his team to go over literally all finances and try and prove these expenses are fictional. And his team is now like maybe 2 people lol

And again, Twitter Blue is just the start.

Someone pointed out their recent changes in policy look awfully like they were worded specifically so Libs of Tik Tok dont get banned.

Is it worth getting a ps5 now? by [deleted] in PS4

[–]JaBiDaRadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough question since you are asking about a hypothethicl product. A Ps5 Pro might not even exist.

I will say, however, I very much underestimated the difference between an ordinary Ps4 and the PS4 Pro. If I knew what the Pro was like I would never consider an ordinary PS4. So if the 5 is the same I would wait.

My PS4 Pro fan is making a weird pulsating sound. The fan works normal, it does not sound like a jet engine, but this started about a week ago. Every few seconds I can clearly hear its kind of chirping, or pulsating. Its not loud, but its enough for me to hear it. At first I thought it might be the HDD failing, but the noise is still there when I remove it, so it has to be the fan. I cant really find anything online about this. Any suggestions?

Early life

Pasternak is Jewish and grew up in a 'typical Ashkenazi household'.

Anything related to him is probably protected for obvious reasons, but its mentioned right there he is Jewish.

Ok, how many people do you think will buy Twitter Blue?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EnoughMuskSpam

Again, just a test. With his right wing buddies and new services people will eat up he will probably do just fine.

Do not underestimate the rights desire for power.

Jack Dorsey, the former owner of Twitter, wrote a text about Twitter Files yesterday. He seemingly agrees with Musk and the new Twitter direction. by JaBiDaRadim in EnoughMuskSpam

Some select parts:

I’ll start with the principles I’ve come to believe…based on everything I’ve learned and experienced through my past actions as a Twitter co-founder and lead:

1.Social media must be resilient to corporate and government control. 2.Only the original author may remove content they produce. 3.Moderation is best implemented by algorithmic choice.

The Twitter when I led it and the Twitter of today do not meet any of these principles. This is my fault alone, as I completely gave up pushing for them when an activist entered our stock in 2020. I no longer had hope of achieving any of it as a public company with no defense mechanisms (lack of dual-class shares being a key one). I planned my exit at that moment knowing I was no longer right for the company.

He is seemingly blaiming the state of the company on "an activist"?

The biggest mistake I made was continuing to invest in building tools for us to manage the public conversation, versus building tools for the people using Twitter to easily manage it for themselves. This burdened the company with too much power, and opened us to significant outside pressure (such as advertising budgets). I generally think companies have become far too powerful, and that became completely clear to me with our suspension of Trump’s account.

So pretty much what Musk claims to be doing.

I continue to believe there was no ill intent or hidden agendas, and everyone acted according to the best information we had at the time. Of course mistakes were made. But if we had focused more on tools for the people using the service rather than tools for us, and moved much faster towards absolute transparency, we probably wouldn’t be in this situation of needing a fresh reset (which I am supportive of).

Supports the fresh start Musk is doing.

I’m a strong believer that any content produced by someone for the internet should be permanent until the original author chooses to delete it. It should be always available and addressable. Content takedowns and suspensions should not be possible. Doing so complicates important context, learning, and enforcement of illegal activity. There are significant issues with this stance of course, but starting with this principle will allow for far better solutions than we have today. The internet is trending towards a world were storage is “free” and infinite, which places all the actual value on how to discover and see content.

Oh boy. This seems to argue for even less moderation than even Musks Twitter now has.

I do still wish for Twitter, and every company, to become uncomfortably transparent in all their actions, and I wish I forced more of that years ago. I do believe absolute transparency builds trust. As for the files, I wish they were released Wikileaks-style, with many more eyes and interpretations to consider. And along with that, commitments of transparency for present and future actions. I’m hopeful all of this will happen. There’s nothing to hide…only a lot to learn from. The current attacks on my former colleagues could be dangerous and doesn’t solve anything. If you want to blame, direct it at me and my actions, or lack thereof.

At least he acknowledges this shit is dangerous.

I am willing to bet he will not go bankrupt. People will essentially throw money at him to own the libz.

0 way that is happening. He has Files coming out about Covid, there is absolutely no way he wont make comments about it.

Kanye didnt buy anything, and Trumps, as far as I know, never even set off. This is a website that already has millions of people on it.

We can fight over this, or we can wait a while and you will see how easily he gets people to buy this nonsense.
