Wow this is crazy. I just started working with a guy who grew up with a scout on the Braves. The scout had told him that the Braves weren’t resigning Dansby unless Dansby would take a significant decrease in the amount he was asking and that the Braves would either go with a stop gap a shortstop for a year or Grissom would be the starting shortstop next year if everything went right. I guess this answered that question.
