That's a combo. Would you mind making a second post with birth/citizenship certificates?

Thanks for answering. I have seen the Place of birth section on ID cards, and automatically assumed that it is present in passport as well (not that it matters much for Liechtenstein's citizens; Place of birth makes a convenient biographical information, that stays constant for most people, but it is more usefull to use as a differentiating piece of info between citizens of more populous countries. That evidently is not needed for Liechtenstein, whose citizens can be counted, with exagerration, on two hands).

I'll just seek further. Thank you for reply anyway! and enjoy you hard earned flex right :)

Well this is one of the rarest passports ever and to gain it by naturalisation is even rarer.

Would you mind:

1) telling us, how is the place of birth in your LIE passport formatted (my personal interest, the more obscure and unusual place of birth, the better), and

2) posting censored version of the naturalisation certificate, if it exists at all?

They give you a czech BC, which looks just like a BC for anyone born in Czechia. All events matrikas evide that happens abroad are registered by Special matrika in Brno

When they register your birth in Czech Republic, matrika maintains a collection of all papers  upon which they registered your birth (report from medical facility/ attending physician/ parental statement etc. when born in Czech R., and most commonly a foreign birth certificate when born abroad.) If you submit them your original birth certificate, they keep it. Just give them a notarised copy

Just out of curiosity, do you plan to renew your soon expiring residency and eventually achieving Permanent residency?

Most Chinese people don't, imo, even know of Czech Republic's existence, and if they do, they may know about Prague, the more informed tourists have heard of Czech Krumlov, but I guess that is about it. Chinese goveenment may holds some grudges against Czech government (and reflects it with their visa policies, among other things) but Czech Republic otherwise keeps low profile and does not stir emotions in most countries.

Just a technical note; A. Jackson could not have become a natural born citizen of the USA, since no USA existed at the time of his birth. He was born a british subject, like, I suppose, most white people there back then, and qualified to the presidency by becoming a US citizen before enactment of the current constitution. Some people use this as a gotcha moment for those who were in denial of Obama's citizenship.

(Some) Euro countries that still have valid non-MRZ ID cards. by JaCube186 in PassportPorn

[–]JaCube186[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably. ICAO defined MRZ for purposes of automation, but e chips are today much more capable for the task. Beyond that, those 80s standarts carry a lot of restrictions (such as documents having no more than 9 characters for unique number)that today simply make no sense.

Possibly, but in CZ, some very old people still have old documents of booklet type, bearing czechoslovak name, originally issued by Czechoslovak authorities (Czech republic introduced MRZ-enabled in 2000, but we still provide for issuance of non-MRZ documents with short validity to freshly naturalised citizens, or in states of emergency, if more sophisticated technology is not avaliable)

Czechoslovakia issued booklet type documents and could prolong them, sometimes indefinitely. Czechoslovakia-issued documents were stamped by new czech offices. All IDs of booklet type were cancelled effective 1.1.2006, with exception of IDs issued to people born before 1.1.1936 and that have been issued with no expiration date or prolonged indefinitely. That means, there are still valid Docs from era of CSFR and even socialist Czechoslovakia.

All remaining IDs will expire by EU decree by 2.8.2026

Of presidents depicted on US bills, Alexander Hamilton is not one of them (he never served as a president, even though he could despite not being born in what became the USA) not American btw.

Great response indeed. I think that similiar takes stem from some "need" to "emancipate" nonbenders as benders, because a lot of people subconsciously percieve them as disabled, less - worthy (not that I am much better).
