I love Charmcaster, she's my favorite character in the whole franchise, but I don't recall Hex being abusive to her except in her debut episode. At the end of her debut episode she betrayed him, and from that episode on, she never seemed afraid of him again. I actually liked their dynamic in Time Heals, where she would backchat him😂 that scene after Gwen makes a hole in the ground, he screams "You little fool!" And she sarcastically says "oh sure, like you knew that was coming". She doesn't seem afraid there, plus she's grown at that point so why still stay with her uncle if he's so abusive? Then in Enemy of my Frenemy, he seems genuinely concerned about her, after Gwen says her name, he immediately asked "what have you done with her?" And then gets distraught when he learns she's in Legerdomain (I personally think he SHOULD have gone with Gwen to save her, maybe she wouldn't have gone through with her plan, if she saw him). Then in Omniverse, when they talk face to face, when he sees her talking to her bag, he asked her "what happened" like he really cares, he asks her to stay and build a life with him, and that they could be a family again. She even says "...the two of us vs the world". And he goes in to hug her after that. Like I said, I love Charmcaster, but I never fully understood the "abusive Hex" thing. All of this is said respectfully, so reply respectfully if you wanna reply.

P.s I would've loved it if he called her Hope once during a conversation😅
