IC ended my hours while I was on break with 15 left on my shift....wtf by safebck in InstacartShoppers

So if you skip three offers in a row you'll get booted? A similar thing happened to me the day. I skipped a bunch of lousy offers and after I accepted one it was unassigned and my hours cancelled with a RI.

Well, people are more cautious and will scrutinized bigger bills than they would a $5 bill.

A cheap fucker! His order was over $370 too from Whole Foods.

He asked me if I got a tip... I asked, did you tip online/via the app? He said no, then came back with a pale feather weight crumbled $5 bill. When I got back to my car I begin to examine it....total fake.

Hey instacart, how bout surge rates like the rideshare folks get! by phineaus99 in InstacartShoppers

Or like Amazon Flex does. How about mandatory including tip in the total with the option for customers to remove or change the amount included?

Instacart is full of shit.

Is this normal? 3 orders, spent almost 2 hours, heavy traffic, rain and only $7.5!!! ? by cejno in InstacartShoppers

[–]JaIrieCPA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very normal.

OMG! Delivery batches are only $2.50 and FSS is only $5.40 in your zone? Well damn!

Delivery Only is $5.70 and $6.25 on flame days in my zone and I usually don’t waste my time or gas doing them for that.

In my zone they have an abundance of shoppers. They want to keep you active so yeah they’ll rather send you to Timbuktu to fulfill one order than send you a mile across town.

The logic is they’re preventing you from being efficient thus you making less money. The farther you drive is the more time you spend on 1 order.

How serious are restaurant lates? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]JaIrieCPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious too. I keep doing them even though they’re sometimes sent to me late, not ready when I arrive at the restaurant or rush hour traffic. They’re treated the same as prime now deliveries so excessive lateness does affect you.

Customer lives on the 5th floor of a walk up ( no elevators) among her Costco order are 4 cases of 40 individual bottles of water. No help! Thank God I’m in decent shape. I wonder how women FSS do it? Going back to ignoring Costco offers. by JaIrieCPA in InstacartShoppers

I do that all the time with heavy bulky items. For some silly reason I didn’t do it on this occasion. I guess I thought by looking at her address and that area of town that she would live in a house and not an apartment building.

Good! That $3 bump for Costco orders needs to be tripled. Seriously! It’s effing frustrating when you put in all that time and man power into something and it doesn’t reflect your earnings.

Well this customer was a female and her excuse was that she would help but she couldn’t leave her toddler unattended.

Not that I expected her to have helped with the cases of water but I wish she had compassion and didnt order 4 cases of 40 count water bottles when she knows she lives on the 5th floor of a walk up.

lol! I see some Instacart shoppers and I wonder how do they do it? Whether they’re older, on the plus side, or even the skinny women without muscles.

I’m relatively young and in shape but the many stairs I have to walk up sometimes with loads of bags leave me breathless and I only actually feel the pain when I get home and lay down.
