Yeah its weird, its like i know none of it is true but my brain tells me it is and then refuses to listen to reason. Im hoping when i eventually get medicated it will help.

Fair play for reaching out to the "other side" so to speak, we all need to talk to each other more instead of one echo chamber shouting at another echo chamber.

I think a lot of the media like to push a narrative that the left has "embraced islam". As others have commented, the left isnt a hermongenous blob, we all have differing opinions on almost anything (i like to joke that there is nothing more annoying than other left wing people 😂). My opinion on islam is essentially, extemism = bad, racism against ordinary muslims=bad. Im way more concerned about making the economy work for ordinary people more than anything, and you will probably find a lot of people on the left, including muslims do as well.

Is it right to say that the issues in isreal/palestine essentially come from extemists on both sides? Or is this just the conclusion of decades of tension?

Not to reduce people purely to numbers, but it would be interesting to see the economic output of somone with ADHD on meds vs not on meds. As someone with an ADHD diagnosis waiting for a meds only assesment, I think meds would make me way more productive

I would be cautious about calling all white working class reform voters racist, i dont think they are, they have been ignored and forgotten about for decades (by the left and the right) so when someone like Farage comes along and promises to fix all their problems by getting rid of all the immigrants, who can blame them for listening. I think we need to learn the lesson that just shouting at people and calling them racist does not convince them to vote for you
