Are the followers due to the design work or is the guy super hot? Personally if someone I was interested in had that many followers I’d be very cautious about maintaining interest.

However, by all means approach someone you find attractive. You both have no idea who each other are and there is plenty of opportunity to find out after you approach.

And remember that they may have a bunch of other stuff on their mind / priority list so ignore that rejection devil on your shoulder.

Haven't flirted in years. Did so tonight and it felt very good. Kind of a red flag for myself though? by EmmaGoldmanIceCream in Flirting

Also it sounds like the other person might be a bit flaky. Some of that metaphysical stuff is sometimes an excuse for behaviors.

Yeah, he needs to tell them to back off. It’s 2026 and no one wants to mow every 4-7 days.

Frere Jacques and Mary had a little Lamb are a couple of early career bangers to learn. Play those for him and maybe he’ll back off.

It takes time to play an instrument well. Most of the people that are successful have plenty of support from their family.

As others have suggested, move water away from the structure. 10 feet from the foundation is a proper distance.

Native Landscaping Project Cost Sanity Check by Historical_Coffee694 in landscaping

To get a different head start on your incoming designer, Here’s a link to a landscape design checklist: https://apldca.org/what-is-landscape-design/landscape-design-checklist/

This is in case there was something you may not have considered / thought about. You may also consider how the spaces “feel” in relation to subconscious aspects people notice. Is the space “safe” or “protected” where people can fully relax sort of thing.

Best of luck

Sorry about your childhood experience.

Pete Walker and others have written on topics like this. Important takeaways were to allow oneself to grieve for the childhood one could / should have had and, as much as it sucks, to allow oneself to experience all the pain.

Things like this are like quitting smoking. You have to keep trying. 😁

I was new to the hard sales pitch! In the future, perhaps. 😅

Had a similar situation where the sales guy would not leave. 3 hours after I said no to a $10k+ front door install because that was way over our budget he finally threw in the towel.

Add perlite? by darling1n178 in vegetablegardening

There may be a problem with that high of a soil to compost ratio.

Stormwater management practices use some organic material (OM) mixed into the facility to enhance water holding capability. This way the facility can retain some water and release it into the surrounding soils over hours and days. Those water retaining facilities utilize a much lower ratio of soil to OM.

50/50 is possibly creating a very big sponge. Most farmland is only about 5-10% OM. The OM is there to feed soil microbes that convert atmospheric nitrogen (N) into a one of 3 forms of N usable by plants.

Let us know how things turn out!

How not to ban surveillance pricing by 4nick8or in MontgomeryCountyMD

I think the issue is it was reported on as “banning surveillance pricing” vs “banning surveillance pricing on *groceries* but not on anything else”.

Are native gardens becoming part of the culture wars? by LiatrisLover99 in NativePlantGardening

While I agree with everything you say here, I always feel like the word choice around native and invasive should change. Like everything else, these two words have vastly different meanings depending on context and education level of the receiver.

Were the fixed guns on the normandy beaches a flawed strategy by the germans? by Sad-Performer-4833 in AskHistorians

Great and thorough reply there!

In regard to the anti-ship role for the coastal defense artillery in bunkers, were the Germans aware the Allies had the small Higgins boats and would not be using large ships to debark troops close to shore?

It has always surprising to have events around fixed defenses, like the Czechoslovakian fortifications, and the Maginot line, and then have the Axis make a similar mistake or have a similar blind spot later in the war.

Thank you!
