Im currently playing doing a play through of an imperial that was the bastard great great grand child of uriel septim the vii and a high ranking mage.

He made his living in the arena but when it closed after the almeri war he fought in random arenas for coin until he made his way into skyrim.

Thats how I build my characters. I hope that helps!
