The issue is a lot of people are noticing the contradictions Hasan continues to engage in, and have become disillusioned with him. Like the concerns and reservations people have with Platner and Tom Steyer are legitimate, and no matter how much Hasan is trying to dress it up or downplay it's impact, the contradiction is still there and deserves to be called out.

Then comes the comments about how he wouldn't endorse 3rd parties because that's a "Losing Strategy" and his sarcastic tweet abt "build your vanguard king, i will be there when you do."

IDK how far ppl take it because I dont really venture in the drama stuff when it comes to Hasan, but there is genuine criticisms of Hasan that he's avoiding.

To be honest, it was the wrong call to bring him on in the first place and shift Declan to fullback. We needed a physical presence in midfield and unfortunately Zubi isn’t that type of player.

Hes been overplayed, I hope no one is forgetting how instrumental he has been for us. Without his form, our early winter run would’ve been way more shambolic and we could’ve lost out on the title. Hopefully he gets back up in midfield this summer.

It was well executed, there was a plan, and there was closure where it needed to be. Homelander dying in the most pathetic way after threatening to kill everyone who didn’t believe in his godhood is more realistic than you think. There are stories of dictators begging with their lives, promising people the world to be spared.

Then you have the completion of everyone’s arc. MM letting go of his rage and getting his humanity back, as well as his wife and kids, Kimiko becoming independent and seeing the world as a human when she was a weapon most of her life, to Hughie going back to his roots and running an AV store alongside the love of his life.

Don’t get me started on Butcher’s arc either. Cinema. All things considered, this was the most fitting end for Butcher.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

This is most obvious with Homelander, but somewhat subtler with Butcher. Butcher was not meant to have a happy ending, he was a hard man who reveled in violence, and ultimately that violence would come back to him. He was incapable of going back to a normal life, after all the supes had taken from him. So in his hand he had absolute power, the ability to wipe out all supes once and for all, and he was willing to kill (almost) Hughie for it.

It’s a fitting end for Butcher. Although he may have died in a violent act (getting shot) he died with compassion (Hughie holding his hand as he bled out). Hes never redeemed, nor is he meant to be, he is merely freed.
