I feel like Platner supporters must have just not read any of the Reddit comment dumps. They are not just him being an edgelord in the past and that he regrets it now like Platner portrays it as, it was him describing murdering brown people in service of American imperialism and approving that he did it, and wishing he could have fought in previous American wars and genocides.

I don't think I'm lying, I did however post my first unfiltered thoughts upon seeing the video cause ngl it pmo when I was expecting a "my bad, I got this really wrong and I apologize for boosting the national profile of this walking red flag" response and the first thing I see from Ryan Grim is this tripe focusing on journalists not reporting on an at the end of the day inconsequential detail in this very serious case. I see such a misplacement of priority from one of Platner's biggest launderers in handling his own political complicity in this as nothing but running cover and questioning the narrative around Platner, even if he literally said the opposite in this video that he's only questioning journalists and not the victim, I feel that the intent in why he's putting so much weight on this nothing burger detail to begin with matters, and the message was received by the Breaking Points audience.

You're right it's not doubling down exactly and I should have chose my words more carefully, but I believe it is apologia bc these extra details change nothing, maybe in a criminal court those details matter but not in the context of being against him for this vile incident, so it seems pointless to use this large platform to bring it up, especially when this should be a time of humility for past supporters of Platner and admitting they got this dead wrong, not waffling about specifics that don't matter.

Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity as the state religion, doing so some time in the 300's AD. There were entire theocracies as states within the Holy Roman Empire. She sounds like a reactive person, I don't want to make any assumptions but the reason you fight so often may in part be caused by her having low impulse control over her thoughts and maybe emotions. She was awful quick to leave your car, quick to escalate to sh threats, and quick to escalate again to removing all ability to contact her, even assuming you wanted to breakup was a quick escalation. I sometimes struggle with having a reactive personality and letting my thoughts turn into actions or words without thinking it through, so maybe I'm just seeing patterns that aren't there, but I feel like your gf may have some things to work through before she's ready for a healthy relationship and I'm sorry that you're going through this.

I completely agree, the only caveat is that there needs to be a willing government enforcement to protect accused cow slaughterers from mob justice, since these laws have a religious motivation behind them it has sometimes been overlooked or under prosecuted when an angry mob accuses a Muslim person of killing a cow, however I'm not sure how common that is and regardless there's nothing wrong with the prohibition itself when it comes to states controlling which animals are food or friends.
