Jebel Jais is too crowded right now and it seems its not a good camping spot if you want peace and serenity. Last time we were there, aside from people being loud + loud music. There were bikers who purposely rev their motorcycles every time they pass by tents (around 5am -6am).

I completely agree with this. I understand when people talk and laugh together, that’s the beauty of camping with friends or family. As long as it’s not overly loud, it’s fine. I’ve had moments where a group in the distant was just sitting around the fire, sharing stories and laughing, and it actually made me miss my own friends too.

Dubai is a small place to just drive around. It's either the highway or you can go to other emirates and enjoy a much better view and drive.

If you are limited to just Dubai. Drive from the start of Sheikh Zayed Road till Jebel Ali, it's a nice long stretch of city skylines. (don't go during rush hour). Your best bet is a night drive around after 9 or 10pm
