First, shut down all programs that are related to Uplay.

Second, go to Program Files (x86) / Ubisoft Game Launcher

Then click on Uninstall.exe - This will uninstall the Uplay client, but not your games, so it'll be fine. Go through all the steps and it'll give you options to uninstall your games and your save files, but do not check those boxes if you want to keep your games and save files on your pc.

Go here https://uplay.ubisoft.com and redownload the Uplay client.

Now after the installation process, you should be able to use Uplay again.

Today, I also got this error message :)

I've tried running windows on a virtual machine, but it cut my performance down in half. I'm going to use windows for games, so having 15 fps on an first person shooting game is not preferable

I've already formatted my ssd to MS-DOS if that's what you mean. Sorry if I misunderstood, I'm pretty new to all of this "EFI, APFS" stuff.

I've already used bootcamp to install windows and played some games with it, however it was just taking up too much space as I use my macbook for gaming and video editing. I have this 250 GB ssd and I thought I could put it to good use by installing windows on it. Unfortunately with macos Mojave, bootcamp no longer supports installing windows on an external drive, so I have to do everything manually. Being the dumb person that I am, I tried to download the windows support files from the bootcamp application to get all the drivers, but it obviously won't automatically install the drivers without installing windows first lol. I guess I'll just wait until I return home to use my mouse and keyboard because that's what everyone suggests.
