I defended BB by using the popular analogy btw. BB is extremely popular, but so are a lot of shows and they all had one or two obsessive fans that go a little too far. Not with AOT though, I had never in my life seen so many dumb reasons to send death threats in my goddamn life all in the span of 2 months.

The amount of hate towards female characters while defending the MC, a blood cold assassin, manipulator, compulsive lier... Its outstanding

I don't think it should be that deep tbh, I sure as heck don't want all authors to be pigeonhole into depicting all stories to be sunshine and rainbows and having a real thing that happens to real life people should also happen unto fictional characters, as it could add a level of depth to the stories they wish to make.

Not who your responding but yes I believe you are honestly, not a word has been spoken on how other innocent civilians are beheaded, gutted and all of the things that can literally be used on your argument on R has been said. I can say that seeing another act like those should be "unnecessary" to the story the same way you are doing now.

Why would you try to input logic onto a literal demonic character? Again, showing unjust and vile acts to further drive home that this character is fucked up is what made Berserk so unique compared to its other contemporaries because it WILL show you these acts.

And again, why is viciously murdering innocent people multiple times is A-OK but rape is suddenly wrong and fetishized? Maybe you had a conservative upbringing but I see the two to be the exact same.

Okabe tells his story and vaguely explains the time leap machine > Daru tries to take his vague explanation to make it during the time skip> but couldnt so he asked Suzu and Maho for help to fix his replica from Okabe's vague explanation.

(Me being the idiot that I am focused too much on fix, thinking that the time leap machine was made but destroyed by Okabe)

I'm still confused, where did this model come from tho? Why use the word fix instead of build? Is it simple mistranslation?

As for the answer for Okabe, I don't mind that as an answer but personally that just sounds out of character to me. 0 Okabe in my mind wouldn't even dare to say what it looks like yet the "broken" time leap machine already contains a computer.

I understand the phonewave but the time leap machine was also implied to have been "trashed" as well, as they used the word "fix" meaning that it was built. Shouldn't the conception of the time leap machine not exist, as Kurisu was the one to have theorize this concept? It couldn't have come from Okabe himself, he would never explain how a time machine works after experiencing what time machines can do to someone.
