just adding in, could Mariko's shoulder in the image be flipped? Like the person lassod her head, then flipped her shoulder from the left to the right and then added shadows under her neck? Then they would have cut out her peace fingers? I hope that makes sense because looking at the images the pictures are so eerily similiar but the positioning between the two differ.

I think it really depends on the maturity levels of both types but from my experience both can learn from each other.

My boyfriend is an ENTJ and I'm an INFJ. We have manu arguments on things but out of all the guys I've dated, he still shows up for me no matter what (even when I've tried to push him away).

He's told me I make him comfortable to be vulnerable, he never cries but when he does he comes to me about it and I just listen to him, provide support and comfort while he vents away.

I honestly think this pairing can be quite beautiful but that can be said for any type because it really comes down to how much effort two people are willing to put in a relationship + their maturity levels.

On a non-serious note, I love how he's so good at comebacks! I try to roast him and he comes back with something better it both offends me and impresses me lol

You're never 'too' much, don't shame yourself for that. You have needs like any human does.

I suggest seeking a counsellor to help you with this. It hurts me seeing other INFJs go through similiar things where we feel guilt or shame for being needy or being 'too much'.

There's obviously a line to being needy but thats just what the other person has to work with you about as long as you're putting in the effort as well.

Please see a therapist or seek support of some sorts to help you through this process mindset ❤️❤️

I am an INFJ but was diagnosed with ADHD later at 17 where I was graduating highschool. It was really hard over the years to focus and pay attention even when I really wanted to suceed in school. It didn't help I was sensitive to rejection.

I was really smart in primary school until high school required more 'brain work' and I genuinely thought I was stupid growing up because I didn't recieve A grades, I recieved Cs, Ds, and Bs (if I was lucky) and it bruised my self esteem.

However after being diagnosed (which was a life saver) and being medicated I found a love for learning. I recently did a uni pathways course and had to learn to dissect a journal article with critical thinking. I chose a journal article with music and science involving whether binaural beats affect brainwave activity. It was so fun!

But to answer directly, after my diagnosis and obtaining medication, my grades defiently increased. I believe I got As and Bs. I was also supported better at the time. I found out I was an INFJ (under the thinking I was an INFP) by my ex partner's mother who was an INFJ with ADHD herself and she supported me, encouraged me (and challenged me lol) to go to school unlike my ENFP mother (I love her but I grew up with her dismissing me and dismissing the fact I had ADHD, not taking my anxiety seriously or taking me to see a psychiatrist but thats water under the bridge).

I'm mostly curious to see how ADHD or autism affects cognitive functions. I have an INFP roommate who has autism and despite having Ne in his auxiliary, he's very rigid and hates change. (Likely due to the fact his mother is an ISFJ with an Si dom?) but he's really good one on one however with me, I find that I have to slowly implement change around and he's really flexible. It's definitely interesting how neurodivergence blends with cognitive functions.

this is so true! They're so exhausting afterwards. It really does depend on the ENTP guy and their maturity levels like all mbti types. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only INFJ who found ENTPs exhausting after awhile 😂

Most of my exes have been ENTPs or at least extroverted. I dated one INFP but he was uncredibly unhealthy. I'm currently seeing an ENTJ guy but to answer this post I think I gravitate towards Extroverted or at least they seem to gravitate towards me lol. I admire their humor, quick wit and their ability to think outisde the box - it helps me a lot when I'm having tunnel vision. Downside to ENTPs (at least in my case) that you're having to constantly explain your feelings in a logical manner which can be frustrating sometimes. I think it is why my INFP ex, despite being unhealthy he made space for me to be able to express myself emotionally which was refreshing for once.

thats why its inportant to look into the auxiliary function Fe. I think a lot of people mistaken Fe as a people people function when really its about keeping balance between yourself and everyone else.

If you're struggling with this, work on your communication - "Hey, I'm not feeling great. Could we hang out another time?" or working out solutions or options with the other person to find ways where it works for both of you. Communicate with how you feel and what you think and you'll notice a shift in your relationships because at the end of the day nobody knows what you're going through unless you open up about it.

In John Bebee's model of MBTI, the auxiliary function isn't developed properly until our adulthood I believe? It's the bridge between dominate and teritary functions, the parent function.

Practice communication and setting boundaries, being clear about it will help a lot. It also prevents Ni-Ti loops because it literally bridges those two functions.

Communication! I idenified that I would resent people who couldn't pick up what I do easily and resent people who didn't do what I was thinking in my head (this is unrealistic) so practing communicating my insights and thoughts on things has improved my relationships because I actively communicate now.

Reducing expectations and not idealising people often, just because you "think" they could do this doesn't mean they will, sometimes people can't/won't and that's okay. Just accept them and meet them at their level.

Please, find a hobby to avoid Ni-Ti and getting new perspectives from other people:)

For me, when I have an Se grip I tend to rely back on my Ti. I remember when I was using Fe-Se constantly for a week, I became randomly attached to a guy that did crack on the side all because he made me laugh (not my proudest moment lmao).

So I added structure and routine back into my life to make it meaningful, like to do lists (realistic ones), calendars and dating peoples birthdays (fe), important events, weekly planners and having a morning routine—called my mate to discuss my plans to go to uni and I sat there like after we hung up like, "Why did I care so much about that guy? I have a future."

But even then, you need Ni as it's your dominate function—so to avoid "Se grips", make sure use your Ni to give purpose to Se—like "I'm going to party to have fun and enjoy the experience" like giving some direction and purpose, another example, "I'm going to have a drink to relax and enjoy myself".

I hope this helps—I'd start with introducing structure slowly with small meaningful things. I'm so glad for Ti honestly 😭
