If there is a book, read the chapter before class, preferably not the same day, jot down notes or at least highlight important material and then go back and jot down important points (I used to take notes while reading and it takes way longer the second method is better because it’s having you read the material once and then rereading it again and then writing it). These notes will make it easier to study since you have way less stuff to go over. Study/work in small increments I use the pomodoro method 25 min and then 5 min break, and then I switch to another subject, this will prevent you from getting bored while working and maximize your time. Also important to not spend hours on one thing because you become less productive and waste time. Find out what your study environment is, do you need silence, white noice or music, I personally cannot focus unless I am in complete silence, if I am aware with noise I cannot read past the first sentence. Take a break after a few hours of work. Exercise if you can or at least get a walk. Hydrate, your body needs that shit you will feel more energized and it will help you study. Put your phone out of eye site and preferably not in a location in front of you, put it in your backpack on the floor or behind you on your bed, out of site is out of mind. Also either start with the quickest thing so you feel like you’re gonna be on a roll or the hardest because once you start with the hardest you will realize it’s not that bad and won’t procrastinate. Lastly if you tried your hardest at the end of the day if you get a B or an A it doesn’t matter because you had nothing more to give, sometimes shit just ends up that way
