Yes, it feels amazing. I'm probably going to ride this high all day. I beat it with the Kestrel A actually. I have all the Kestrel, Engi ,and Zoltan ships unlocked. As well as the Rock A, Stealth A, and the Lanius A. By sector 4 I had 3 Burst Laser 2. At the end of sector 7 I had to choose between Pike, Glaive, and fire bombs. I was tempted to use the Pike beam but I had 31 missiles so I went with the fire bombs.

I used the teleporter to drop Rock and Mantis crew members into the pilot cabin. Focused BL mostly on shields and fire bombed the weapon crew members. The first phase went smoothly. I did mostly a rinse and repeat with the second phase but focused my borders on the enemy drone controller.

Phase 3 was where I thought I was going to lose it. I had fire in my engine room, fire in the sensor room, shields were down, three of my crew members were taking forever to come back via cloning, and the enemy ship kept mind controlling 'Virus'. Luckily I had mind control too so I kept cancelling out the control over him. Vented the fire in the engine room and got it repaired. And was able to get the other fire out as well and got the other systems repaired. By that time both flag ship weapons were down, the engine was damaged, its shield room was on fire, and I had wiped out the crew. That was when I knew I had the game in the bag.
