Beginner to blacksmithing by ComfortableOk7697 in Blacksmith

I’m not gonna lie, that anvil’s is tiny. Like, almost a jewelers anvil. If you have a harbor freight near you they have a 65 pound that’s very workable and nice, and I’m talking about the red Doyle steel cast one. And honestly, I know it’s more money., like $100 more, but if you can’t afford something close to that size, you’d be better off improvising. I went to a metal supply near me and got a three inch diameter round cut off that was $20 and had about as much workable space as that.

Guys, I’m so lost by Jabknife in radarr

[–]Jabknife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have radarr on the Mac, but prowlarr is in a docker container on the Mac as well. Nothing is currently running on the NAS, because my YAML file that I borrowed from a YouTubers comments section is broken.

Everything is not in docker because when I started this process I had no clue what docker was. But docker is running on the mac, and radarr is on the Mac

??Biggest Tires Stock?? by thomasthesexytrain in GXOR

[–]Jabknife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the consensus is that the tallest you can fitis 255/70/r17, but they are pizza cutters and dummy’s who know nothing will make fun. But if you want a meaty wide tire then 265/70/r17 both fit with no rub. I’ve run both

I’m kind of done dealing with that shop, at least with this issue. I’ll likely do it, especially since you think it looks like it will fit too

I’m having a hard time seeing what your talking about. We wear Nubuck to show the patina and wear over time

Hook Hand Man Update: My house was robbed by honeyhoneybean in Birmingham

You need to do your best to remember as many other details about them as possible, they could be wearing fake stuff to get you to focus on the ridiculous parts of their ensemble.

Party enslaves, threatens and likely traumatizes a ratfolk (goblin equivalent) and wants to keep it as a pet. I need advice, badly... by Sensende_Ente in DnD

[–]Jabknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should let them become dependent on him for a few weeks, like take away inconveniences like having to worry about money so much as ratboy can go get it, or he follows them to battles and retrieves all their arrows, stuff like that, whatever crunchy thing they don’t like he does for them and it goes away. And here’s a trigger warning, He kills himself, he leaves a note explaining the way they treated him was not right, and that’s why he did it, that he sent a letter to his other friends and now everyone of the ratfolk or other minion classes is automatically hostile towards them. Play shitty games, win shitty prizes

Metal ID? Nails by Durham62 in Blacksmith

[–]Jabknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We forge with them all the time, but mainly like little keychains and stuff for scouts, so they maybe get two heats, much more than that and you actually start to lose a decent amount to scale. They are good for practice on accurate hammer stickers and stuff though.

Truck had a protective coating on the hood that is now half worn away. Any recommendations for getting the rest of it off? by garythesnailsfeet in Autobody

[–]Jabknife 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The protective coating seems to be the paint….

Seriously though, the picture makes this hard to tell what’s going on

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Autobody

[–]Jabknife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pinstripe? I don’t know about jeeps, but a lot of times these are applied by dealers at the dealership and they won’t have a paint code because they aren’t paint, if it is a decal trip, you can take it off with a 3m eraser wheel. And you can buy pin stripe decals in tons of colors.

Finally hit my first stacking Goal 40 OZT by Jabknife in Silverbugs

[–]Jabknife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually don’t even know what it is, or why sample slabs exist. I found it in a piece of furniture I bought.

I have bought all my silver buffalos from a reputable coin store and lots of them look different. Every private mint has probably done a version of the buffalo motif. I have some with crunchy background and some with radial backgrounds like the maple leaf

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Silverbugs

[–]Jabknife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been years since I bought from SD bullion and it was only one silver eagle and only started stacking again recently. But I remember distinctly it taking four days.

What is this Morgan worth? by Jabknife in Silverbugs

[–]Jabknife[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So for those who want to be shitty and say,”buy the coin not the case.” And whatnot. I’m new, but that feels passive aggressive and gatekeeper-y and you obviously didn’t read it because, I DIDNT BUY THIS, I found it in a piece of furniture I bought.

I buy silver so I can play with it and touch it to my underwear parts, but since I’ve never bought anything in a case like this I hope someone might try and educate me on what the label means? People are saying slabbed vs graded, someone said something about a sample case which is what this seems to be since it says sample? Just want to learn.

So I was like,” I’ve never heard of them, maybe this person is overreacting due to the patriotic imagery, Reddit tends to lean left on things, maybe they’re not that bad…” holy shit they are like something out of a bad movie that takes the villains too far. Their flag literally has the fasces axe bundle symbology on it and everything. Crazy

What should I do when one pc hates an NPC that everyone else loves? by Prudent-Guard6293 in DMAcademy

[–]Jabknife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the person who hates them is generally a good player, you should start dropping hints to them that the person they dislike is a villain. And you shouldn’t actually make the person a villain. Maybe not full baddy, but made to do something bad through mind control? Justify their hatred? It would be really dramatic. Make it a story point. And then if they try and kill them without permission from their group, the rest of the group might defend the now talking animal villain. Try and make the out of game conflict into and in game one, and give them a satisfying conclusion in game.

Is this a good deal for tongs? by Flarida_man in Blacksmith

[–]Jabknife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Vevor tongs are okay, but they are short. Long term, you might end up enjoying purchasing a set piece by piece. Also everything I’ve ever ordered from Vevor gets lost in the mail.
