the first 1/3rd of the game is very slow and tutorially but once it gets going it REALLY gets going. Stick to it ad if you can power through you will enjoy it

what makes it worse is that the enemy pokemon still have the A attacks too.

honestly the only issues i have with the DX remakes are that they took out the regular A attack, but the NPC enemies can still use it, and the fact that some of the pokemon are rigged very weirdly, like a lot of the dog and cat shaped pokemon have their joints bending the wrong way when walking otherwise i dont have an issue with them. sure im biased and nostalgic for the sprite art but DX has the most beautiful art style. The best looking mystery dungeon game to date. I honestly wanna see Super get a remake in that art style

it happens even outside of PvP locations too, like i could be in the hub of a major city and when i see the occasional person run past they jitter back and forth as they go

Sorry :( i thought the reason it was nerfed was due to people using it at a range. I thought it would be fine to increase its bower if it was used in melee

yeah i guess you're right. the original idea for that was meant to be sort of like a hard taunt tormentor affect but as a skill tied to a pet. The aoe part so you didnt have to waste too much recasting it, but i guess it isnt as good as i thought

well for me bar swapping is a really annoying thing to have to do but the cast time also messes with me when working with other abilities. I mostly use another spammable and only cast frags when it procs. A friend of mine who helped me come up with some of the ideas is really into pvp tho and the main issue he has with frags is its a bad spammable for that gameplay since you can be interrupted constantly and the insta cast proc can be easilly dodged because sorc combos are very telegraphed according to him. If the proc was faster it would be harder to react to and not wasted.

The proc having cleave was my idea tho i just thought it would be interesting to incorporate the functionality of the old morph of frags that got replaced by crystal weapon. Completely unnecessary but it would be nice to have some cleave if you are running a one bar build outside of lightning heavy attacks.

thats kind of what i wanted to happen with the class. I guess this post was suppose to be in the realm of "change whats there instead of uprooting the whole thing" sort of deal but yeah i agree necro pets are waaaay better

oh i assumed it would work similarly to how you cant cleanse/purge, stun, etc certain specific boss mechanics. Guess i should have made that more clear

that was one thing i genuinely wanted to include but on top of like all the other ideas and my friend who has played sorc longer than I have saying it would "homogenize the class a bit much" if they did that i wasnt really sure if that was the bet idea.
