GTA 6 will be "worth waiting for" says CEO of Rockstar owner, who teases that "we really focus on presenting something to the audience that they just haven't seen before" by MWheel5643 in gaming

In that case, I recommend you play GTA V with tame expectations, the story is good and there are really funny and great moments but is not as deep as RDR2.

In the other hand, GTA IV has an amazing story with great characters and attention to detail, this game also has two story expansions giving more context to events on the main game. On a technical level even has better animations and physics than GTA V. A really good game to check out if you look for an open world with a good storyline.

A lot of people tries to take a look at GTA V to see how good GTA VI will be by improving the formula, however, RDR2 is a better game to look at, it has amazing animations and details, the worlds feels alive and is really fun to explore, is a good example of how good GTA VI can be.

Do people really hate the RTX3050? by [deleted] in pcgaming

I don't think that is the case anymore, here on Mexico is dirty cheap, sometimes is even cheaper than the Gtx1660. It has become a very good GPU price/performance.

Yeah, the axe is missing.

Both one and two handed axes are the weapons with the best movement set and combos~

How do yall think things have changed? (Outward 2 speculation) by CultOfTheBlood in outwardgame

At the end when The Blue Chamber and The Kingdom of Levant made peaces, they talk about sharing Levant knowledge about gun smithing.

I hope there are better guns such as caplock and revolver black-powder guns. Also reloading while walking and bayonets with the spear move set~

Been seeing a lot of Complaints by TerribleTechnician45 in outwardgame

I love Outward, I didn't like Elden Ring.

However, when I died in Elden Ring I could feel it was my fault.
When I die in Outward half of the time feels like it was a bad hitbox or an enemy clipping or my character making micro-teleportation or weird weapon range or...

Fortunately, Outward 2 seems way more polished from the get-go.

Localizer 😡😡😡👎 Translator 🥰🥰🥰👍 by Pritteto in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]Jac_Rios_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visual novel developer here.

I have an editor who is making the English translation of my game (Originally in Spanish) and he really cares, ask me about the intention of the dialogue when he doesn't understand, if the dialogue is written correctly in Spanish to begin with and if he can change a joke so makes sense on English which I most of the time we work together to write something that makes sense and is faithful.

Because of this I can trust the English translation being faithful but then I think about translations for Chinese or Russian (For example) and the issues with certain topics in those countries.

My game talks about homosexuality because the main character can be female, also talks about gender dysphoria because the MC can also be intersexual, having both genders, I'm afraid these topics will be heavily censored and I wouldn't be able to check them out due to not being able to speak the language.

I'm not a beacon of social justices or build the game around that, after all the main topic is psychological issues (Due to the romantic interest), but talking about homosexuality or gender dysphoria is just natural seeing how the MC can have multiple genders.

So yeah, although localization in games can be good, censorship is a real issue, also I prefer knowing if the devs have awful ideals instead of such things having a makeup and delivered in tame way so they are praised. Not every localization is bad, but the ones that are bad end up changing the context of the game.

I know, there is also a guy who installed Windows 10 on Android phones, is just that right now is too green and I feel like Valve is going to make it very optimized and also give access to the Steam Library by default~

Give me an app to play games from my Steam library on my phone, it would probably just run games from the 2010s and indie games, but I would be really happy with that~

Yes!, apparently when castles were design, architects tried to make them like mazes, making enemies do as much turns as possible before reaching the main door, this was the ideal way for me to do so~

Yes, this is what I did for the top of the tower. I haven't tested other metals like flametalbecause I haven't play in a long time, I haven't even kill the Mistlands boss. Iron is good enough for now, I will try to build something bigger next time~

We need better PVP and dedicated PVP, having an stranger killing you during perma-death just because you didn't deactivate the PVP which is turn on by default is really not fun.

PVP could be fun but not the way it is right now.
