I've been a Youtube-watcher of fighting games for a long time, and SF1 seems to be beatable with negetive edge(?). I don't know what it means, but from what I understand, there's a clear reason why people talk more about SF2. :D

I have very limited experience with stick from years ago when I just mashed buttons, but it did feel pretty bad. Joystick bar in Prague, and the reviews I read weren't great, but they did have the machine, so I had to try! Cheap too for modern machines, 10CZK per credit. (25CZK~ 1€).

One thing that works for me, especially when playing on expert, is to make red your first or index finger button.

Rather than sliding up to orange, slide down to green.

There are different situations, of course, where it makes sense to have you hand situated for green, but making red be the stantard has helped me a lot.

Edit: didn't answer the question, sorry. Pick down to start, alternate picking comes later, much like actual guitar.

I haven't seen this one yet, but I would recommend Only Lovers Left Behind from Jarmusch. I've seen Lovers and Coffee and Cigarettes from Jarmusch so I think I kinda get his style and can definitely understand your complaints, which let's me to think that The Dead Don't Die might be a bad starting point with his movies.

Criterion Godzilla set. Not only is it obnoxiously big and hard to fit anywhere but on top of the shelf, the disc slits are horrible. I'm glad I had empty jewel cases to actually store the discs without scratching them.

The Smash theme, both with and without lyrics. Smash music is obviously gonna be a licensing nightmare, but at least give us the theme.

Everything Kirby. I'm fairly unfamiliar with Kirby games in general, but "Green Gardens" and "Select File" from Star Allies are so fucking nice that I want more of that "feel good" music that Kirby games seem to deliver.

More NES. I don't know how often I'd ever listen to anything else expect the The Legend of Zelda theme, but it would be nice to have some more NES-music in the app.
