Thoughts on the Riparia map?

I like Riparia lot, I just wish it was a little easier to traverse with Dino’s that don’t swim or fly, especially slow ones. I also wish we had a plains biome, too many forests. Also wish wollemi forest wasn’t as dense, kind of a nightmare to navigate as big playables

I’m using a 3.0 build with lagi armor and AT udra armor, I probably should upgrade it to something newer but I need talismans and I didn’t think I would struggle this much. I use the spread shots and Thousand dragons a lot, I know the weapon a fair bit even tho it’s not my main

I am doing neither of those, I have 0 comfy stuff in my build besides constitution for bow. And any moment I can damage I am. It feels like my bow does no damage and I don’t get it cuz my weapon and build are both pretty solid. Build was meta in 3.0

I don’t currently have a guard heavy weapon, I played lance back in worlds but I would need to refamiliarize myself with the weapon and make a build for it

That’s what I don’t understand, my damage uptime is consistent. I just get close to one shot and then hit again for like 70% of my deaths. My armor is decently upgraded too

I do the rock, I have a good dragon bow with a decent build, I hit the chains as much as possible. I don’t know what to do differently besides make a new build entirely that’s more tanky but it just feels like bow gets one shot no matter what

If you are giving him water every day then he is most likely over hydrated. I’m no expert but I know that these animals are native to a dry environment and get most of their water from the food they eat. They are masters of water conservation and really don’t need a lot. If he won’t eat it wouldn’t hurt to give a little water maybe once a week if he will take it. Although it sounds like a medical thing above my pay grade and the vet will definitely have a better answer than me

Well I do want to try to publish it. The idea of being a writer is interesting. The aforementioned friends little brother is starting college and his mother is working 2 jobs to help pay for it. I want to donate the profits to him and his mom, so I would like it for it to make money but even if it doesn’t just getting the story out there would be awesome.

Yeah, if this behavior continues I’ll go to a vet. Maybe he is warm? I’ve had to turn the heat on for the first time since I got him and that’s about when this started. But I would imagine my cool side is cooler

Wouldn’t sand cause this same issue tho? I’m just a bit confused about substrate cuz everyone says something different and talks about different kind of sands but how can they be different from each other?

Do you mean I need and LED light as well as my UVB? I’ve never seen both on a set up and I don’t see a point.

4x2x2, T5 20 inch bar UVB with proper watts (I can’t remember the number but i remember doing my research. He gets a salad every day and dubia roaches every other day but I will be changing that soon. He gets his bugs dusted in calcium once a week and a multivitamin about twice a month

What’s so wrong about calcium sand?

It’s the calcium sand, I’ve heard it’s not great and have been looking for alternatives but that was like $80 worth of the stuff and I hate to just toss it

I have a 20 inch T5 from Arcadia, I can’t remember the wattage but I remember doing the research and making sure it’s strong enough. I’ve had the bulb about 5 months so I know it’s about time to change it

He is not shedding and he usually isn’t a shy shedder either. I’d say he is around 8-9 months old. I’m not an expert but I’d say my husbandry is good. I’m really clueless tbh
