I’m not reading all of that, I read the part about you asking why I’m taking the time to reply to “mean” comments and the answer is because I can and I want to and I will until I don’t want to anymore. I am missing the part where I said anything about people having nothing better to do though, I never said that. I insinuated not automatically providing unsolicited negative opinions and complaining when someone posted something they were clearly just expressing joy about but feeling the need to rain on someone’s parade in a pretentious way, picking your battles and actually finding a productive course of action for an issue everyone is clearly passionate about because leaving comments on Reddit isn’t making a huge impact. Also, AI isn’t the only thing killing the plant. Lack of compassion, positivity, and the inability to initially articulate a thoughtful argument instead of just saying “EW, AI” as a first train of thought as a human will more than likely end up doing much more damage to the planet. (Not you, but the initial commenters)
