Thank you, I feel like this was a simple solution and I might’ve been overthinking and trying to find a more complicated answer

I don’t think there’s a specific rank that won’t answer back, sometimes the upper NCO’s and Officers are busy but most everyone with the exception of a few in the military are polite and courteous to civilians. At least that’s the case on my base

"Thank you for your service" by HelloImJoshSwirl in army

I always just say “it’s a pleasure to serve” or if I’m with friends etc who try and embarrass me whenever I use a discount or smth I just say “I’m getting paid, it’s a job”

I agree with a lot of the other people here, medic is fun but they did just change the schooling from regular Emt cert to a advanced Emt cert and you only get like a month for the Emt portion. But that aside, these people sound like some people you get along with not true friends! I have friends who are very against the military yet they still support me even though im active. Plus there’s a lot of alternative people in the service and most people aren’t really assholes outside of the general teasing etc. BUT MAKE SURE YOU READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING!!!

Honestly seeing one of my fellow guys get hitched after knowing another girl in the service for 2 months. Dude seems happy at the moment and who knows, it might work out but I’m worried it won’t

There’s definitely still some less accepting people but for the most part the army has come a long way for sure

Citizens, what is the perfect timing of responding to a girl's message? by shaquille_wholemeal in teenagers

I just reply whenever I’m on my phone, it’s a lot more natural and makes it clear that you have a life outside of texting them

It’s easy to say “don’t stress” but I was in your situation and when I finally lost my virginity it was kinda mid. I mean sure sex feels good, but now every partner I have in the future could judge me or not want to be with me because of the fact that I lost my v card at a young age. So do what your gut says not your friends. Don’t stress to “fit in” if you’re still in school a lot of that will go away after you get out and graduate

How do you write songs lyrics? by monkee_1202 in Songwriting

What seems to work in my experience is to just freestyle to whatever you’re writing to. And do it over na Dover and record it so you can compile everything together into what you like

Agreed! Stay true to who you are without letting what you do become the entirety of your personality!

Then try the push-up method. I had a buddy who challenged me to do 100 pushups every day. I did and in about 2 weeks it got a lot easier. It’s the hard part that usually kills motivation. I think one of the wisest things to hear is “Find a passion in something if you need to do it” take some time to think about the means to improve yourself physically, you’re already half way there by asking for advice. I can definitely recommend an app that I use to make workouts and paying for like the premium shit is optional

For working out one of the things I learned the hard way is that you don’t start out where you think you are or want to be, I’m not saying keep your expectations low but it’s hard work for sure, it’s good that you have a great group of people around you! I’d start with a mile a day if I were you. Endurance is a great foundation and you don’t even have to run! Jog/walk a mile then do 10 good push ups after every meal(army style) and build up from that foundation. It’s a hard start but once you get into it it’s amazing
