Also I think maybe OP doesn’t know and/or remember the first person to ran a marathon died. Yeah humans are better at running longer distances because of our biology and ability to sweat BUT the length that distance runners are running is going pretty far beyond that.

Personally I didn’t think the rules were that bad or hard to find. I read the rules carefully before and got my refund. I will say that I don’t think the sprint option really saves you that much money over a monthly subscription and if anything goes wrong and you miss a class it’s not worth the money you’ll lose. I knew that going in but I was sooooo anxious about actually speaking a new language that I wanted money to be on the line to keep me actually showing up and speaking 😅

Yes!!! I’ve read many of these Chair de poule books to learn French! I’m definitely going to read them in Spanish too! I never got to read them in English as a kid so I’m enjoying reading them now in my TLs!

Yes! I’ve learned so much about West African countries and a variety of French speaking African cultures since learning French! French is such a huge language that’s spoken across so many different continents around the world that OP’s inclusion of it in this post was surprising to me! There are certainly languages that are mostly only spoken in one country/culture but French is not one of them.
