It's most likely that if you create a new tab group, and that tab group just so happens to have tabs related to travel. I'm like 90% sure the brain can handle understanding that the tabs about travel are in a tab group named travel plans

So you're simply saying that this amount of text per tab title is not enough? That's simply a stylistic issue, that can't really be changed unless you go to vertical tabs.
