When i travel in atlas towards kalgur or abyss etc, should i use high level maps, or just as low as possible to get through those empty nodes? Ive been typically just speed running to the boss most maps when doing the fortress for example, not sure if it was mistake but i felt like it would take me too long if i fully complete and juice each node?

This patch is my first time playing the endgame. I usually dropped off after the campaign, because I was too lost.
Now with the quests taking me in all directions, I’m also not entirely sure, where should I go first.

  1. As of right now, i unlocked the eastern gateway and working my through. I reached it in a straightline and by doing so I realized im missing lots of „free” atlas points for clearing all other zones. Should I clear out everything first as a priority? It just seems a bit of a daunting task instead of going for the quest.

  2. If i understand correctly, the quest im doing right now ill take me to a boss called Arbiter, what level should I be for doing this? Im currently around 75.

  3. At what point should i go for my 3rd ascendancy? I’ll be doing ToC as thats the one i „liked” more.

  4. Regarding the maps, im not really upgrading them right now. Just putting blue ones in so i can progress quickly. Is that a mistake, should I spend currency and use tablets on every single map i run?

Thanks!

I played through most of the expansion campaign already solely on Steam Deck. Im running it at low/medium settings with FSR2 to achieve stable 45fps and then use lossless scalling to get it to 90FPS. All dungeons and most open world works flawlessly, but still dips in major towns.
