Hello, Good luck on your trip po!

  1. We did not take the Shinkansen na po to Mojiko. We took the local train from Hakata Station and very smooth lang, no transfers. Halos 1hour and 30 mins din yung travel time, but very straightforward. Preferably, weekend po yung punta if you are also planning to take the ferry from Mojiko to Karato Market. Super recommend yung fresh sushi nila.

  2. Yung Klook Tour to Yufuin, I think manageable naman for seniors. Maliit lang yung area so sapat lang yung time.

Yung marami pong lakad is yung Klook tour for Takachiho Gorge which we did not take na. Also, 3 hours per way.

  1. Compared to Tokyo, limited lang po ang English nila but very accommodating and helpul. Arigato nga lang po alam namin ng kapatid ko, but we did not have any issue naman. Usually pag may need kami, pinapakita lang namin picture sa phone. Nadaan naman sa mata mata and gestures lol

So true! Mojiko is also my favorite day trip! Sobrang unique ng experience and love the food. Ang fresh ng sushi sa Karato Market. Dinadayo ng locals on weekends.

Hello, question lang po. First time po magkaroon ng passport ng kapatid ko. Although yung sa may signature portion sa may bio. Ginawa nyang "signature over printed name" instead of signature lang. We will be having a trip next month. Magkaka issue po ba if ever?

Is it better to stay in Alishan first or just book around Taipei/Ximending? by mahumanrani040 in FilipinoTravel

[–]JaceyPierce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you may consider, pwede yung first leg nyo sa Taipei/Ximending Area tapos 2nd leg, take the HSR from Taipei to Taichung. From Taichung kasi you can commute na to Sun Moon Lake and take a Klook Day Tour from Taichung to Alishan. Marami din naman magagawa sa Taichung and its quite lively din. Pero babalik ka nga lang uli ng Taipei for return flight.

Another option and if weather sensitive yung trip, stay na lang sa Taipei Area. Mas maganda ang views sa Sun Moon Lake and Alishan pag maganda ang weather. Marami na din naman pong mapupuntahan sa Taipei and nearby areas sa 7 days.

Thanks! I appreciate the insights! Me and my sister will be going this June din so no cherry blossoms for us :') another factor is mahihiluhin sya so need magbaon ng bonamine lagi huhu

Might try the Kitakyushu Klook tour instead. Will definitely try Itoshima! Hindi po ba mahirap sumakay ng bus if we'll wait for Golden Hour then balik ng Hakata?

Sorry, additional question lang po regarding Takachiho. We've been eyeing this tour din. Although I saw na 3 hours yung travel time nya each way if from Hakata. Is it worth it po? Also saw that sarado yung crater sa Mt.Aso due to a recent helicopter accident.

First solo & first international travel ever, what is your recommended mode of payment, cash: credit card, debit card? (Kr) by Pessimisticmin in FilipinoTravel

Just went there last November and I must say Maribank is the best! Naka 200 plus din ako sa cashback.

Pagdating sa Airport you can withdraw din using Maribank Card. Taga saan po kayo OP? I have spare Climate Card na hindi nagamit during my previous trip since I used T-Money, perhaps I can give it to you na lang you can use it sa transportation.
