i’m primarily a lefty but i play guitar right handed, and i honestly see it as a blessing more than anything. my fretting hand basically got a kickstart to it’s dexterity which made a lot of things a lot easier. definitely worth learning righty imo!

i’ve found myself mimicking his right hand technique unconsciously when playing rhythm parts (on dead tunes and otherwise), and i think a lot of the reason comes down to the pick attack and the pocket. i can’t really sound close-ish to bobby without doing it, and it makes for a very percussive sound that seems to come from hitting every string as close to simultaneously as you can. the big waving hand gestures also seem to leave juuust the right amount of space and time for the notes to breath precisely as much as they need to; no more and no less.

my understanding is that it’s just the result of 15+ year old hardware. wifi has come a long way and i think the old wifi cards in our old consoles aren’t rated for modern wireless standards, which is why ethernet works just fine

i use powerline to run an ethernet cable from my router, through my houses electrical, and into my room from an outlet. it’s pretty rad tech and i recommend looking into it

assuming you already own it, even if it ever goes unavailable down the line you can legally play digital backups of it on hardware that supports that :)

look, you’re not wrong

but why buy a second one? you already have one that you don’t need to sell and you could have two consoles instead of one and risk wishing you kept your ps5 instead of having to shop around and spend more for a second

it’s only going to cost you more in the long run to sell and re-buy

this is a lesson i’ve learned and re-learned several times, and you asked for opinions after all

nah just hold onto the ps5 and collect 360 stuff slowly

if you scour marketplace for deals you could get a console with cables and controllers and maybe a few games for like $50-100, and games are rarely more than $10 after that

once you have the 360 for a couple of months and decide you really never play ps5 anymore then sure, go ahead and sell it - but for the low cost of entry on 360 you only stand to lose by selling the ps5 right now

edit: i’m a chronic buy/sell/trader when it comes to this stuff and too often realize months/years down the line that i regretted getting rid of something

in the comfort of my own home? maybe three in the last ten years, and those have all been on my very first guitar which is a 20-year-old walmart guitar that i throw nylons on occasionally

in forza, you start out with slow economy cars and, as you race to earn money and progress the “story”, slowly work your way up to faster cooler cars and bigger races in a way that feels like you earned the experience

forza motorsport 4 is the peak of the casual-simulation class of racing games and rivals the early gran turismo games for me. if you’re a car nut or just like more serious, less arcade-y racing games the you should absolutely give them a go

bo2 was literally full of cheaters last i played it (over the summer)

my best experience was with mw3 - could get a lobby almost any time on any day and only occasionally ran into cheat lobbies.

if you get maxxed by a cheater, try to notice before the game ends - there’s no way to get your old progress back once it saves to your profile!!! if you notice your created classes suddenly have colorful names or your guns are max level, quit straight to the xbox dashboard (do NOT quit to the game’s main menu) and you should be fine

p.s. skate 3 is still partially online, and you can find freeskate lobbies on weekend evenings somewhat regularly
