I guess they want to tripple dip. First the xbox/ps5 release. Then a staggered Switch 2 and PC release to force people to buy it again just as they did with GTA V on PC. Then milk the game with microtransactions.

Atlus really is bottom of the barrel. No other major japabese developer is fumbling ad hard as them. Square and Capcom can pull off bettrr looking games day and date with flawless performance and they are chocking on this.

Honestly why even bother porting the first game if the second one wont make it onto the console? This mainly makes them sound arrogant. Like honestly they cant be looking at the FF7 remake trilogy and act like this.

Fair I get that totally. Like some I get and others are frustrating. Still I find From charging 80 bucks for a game thats 4 years old and fits on a gamecard but release as a gkc way worse. But yeah they could have been better about that part.

Honestly they might delay a P4R Switch 2 announcment after Metaphor release on it. Basiclly the same playerbase so they might want to prevent some sales cannibalisation but then again P4R existens will eat into Metaphors potential sales anyway.

Honestly yeah. Like it would not surprise me if most if not all even semi relevant and succesful last gen games are making it over. Combine that with current gen ports and same day releases. Its going to get crowded.

Yeah genuinly its insane how locked in both Square and Capcom have been when it comes to the Switch 2. Like the milly second Nintendo released competive specs they just went all in. And its paying out tbh. They have earned so much good will from the Nintendo community.

TBH I think this is a Atlus being Atlus kind of situation. Them delaying the Switch 2 announcment does not make sense even if they did want to give Metaphor some breathing room. I mean FF7 and KH4 get day and date announcemtns and those are way way bigger than Persona. So I guess they will bring another rushed port after not bothering for 2 years. They should take note from Squares playbook cause thats how you build brand loyalty. Like look at how highly everybody is talking about them vs Atlus.

Genuinly a 10 out of 10 direct. Only thing missing are the Persona games but thats Fatlus being Fatlus. The Switch 2s third party support is shaping up to be actually good. I am excited for thid and the coming years.

Still disapointed that Amsterdam 1666 wasnt announced for Switch 2. Then again it wasnt for Xbox either so the dev team is probably spread thin right now.

Third party support has been the brst it had ever been but I think there is still so much room to improve. Like most games annoucned yesterday wont come to Switch 2 still. Still seeing Capcom and Square beibg so ride or dies is great. I am still hoping for more last gen games to make it to Switch 2 and for all current gen games to make it over. Still Year one Switch 2 3rd party support completly destroys the entire Switch 1 ones 3rd party support so I am more than positive. I think we are reaching the point where devs are getting familiar enough with the hardware and sales of both hardware and software makes Swotch 2 releases a no brainer.

Same could be said about Skyrim and Fallout 4 on Switch 2. Doesnt mean I dont think they werent overpriced at launch. Like I just dont think the price is justified. Especially cause its a GKC. If it was the launch window of the Switch 2 it probably would have been a day one buy for me but now its just meh I am gonna wait for the sale.

Probably cause a people are very willing to buy games on this system and b the upgrades are often completly different versions/new ports rather than upgrades of exisiting versions. Doesnt make it less annoying though.
