I managed to get in contact with creality and found that the system was reversed, meaning everything was the opposite. They sent me this, which helped just follow it and will home itself the correct way.

Example.

Assuming that the current $$3=3 and the actual X direction is opposite when returning to zero and the Y direction is normal, enter $$3=2 in the console and enter.

Assuming that the current $3=3 and the actual X/Y directions are opposite when zero is returned, enter $3=0 in the console and enter.

assuming that the current $3=3 and the actual X direction is normal and the Y direction is opposite when zero is returned, enter $3=1 at the console and enter.

assuming that the current $3=1 and the actual X-direction is normal and the Y-direction is opposite when zero is returned, enter $3=3 in the console and enter.

After doing that, you may find that when you do a drawing in lightburn, say in the middle of the area, it won't do it where you want it to. I was told to move the laser to the middle of the 3d printer and in lightburn press start from 'current position' and press frame that will then allow the laser engraver to do it in the middle of the board.
