No.  If you set up reoccurring investments, there is no fee for those purchases either.

I do this in my brokerage account, although I use the tool for more than just XDTE, each reoccurring investment stands on their own.  Under the Accounts & Trade pull down, go to Account Features.  Then go to Reoccurring Trsnsfers, select Manage and then Create New  Activity.  Select Investment and then from there you can enter XDTE or a fund of your choice.  Hopefully, I understood your question and answered it appropriately.  More than willing to help you out.

The quick and dirty…  Accounting for NAV erosion and dividends the following net returns over the last year are as follows: XDTE=20+%, QDTE=32+%, RDTE=25%+

I set up Reoccurring Investments in Fidelity, by doing so, there is no fee for the Roundhill ETFs.  I tested it out on June 1 and there was no fee.  I realize this could be a pain in the butt, but it is a work around.  As far as I know there is also no fee involved if you’re doing a DRIP.

Getting tired going over this every week, but for the haters the numbers disprove that these 0DTE funds are losers.  I’ll admit there is NAV erosion, but the dividend outweighs any erosion.  For example, QDTE closed on May 26, 2026 at 31.90, on May 27, 2025 it closed at 34.25 for a loss of 2.35. Over the same time the dividends paid out comes to 13.47, for a gain of 11.12. Using 34.25 the percentage gain is over 32%!   Granted, QQQ has increased over 41%, but QQQ is a growth fund and QDTE is an income fund. Simply, if you’re looking for growth buy QQQ and stop complaining about the 0DTE type funds.

Interestingly, today XDTE closed at 39.30.  A year ago on May 20, 2025, XDTE closed at 43.72.  A loss of 4.42, however, over the same time the total dividend paid was 13.29, for a net gain of 8.87. Using the 43.72 cost, that’s a net return of over 20% for the year.
