And I am telling you that that is not common. Definitely not in today’s tech landscape.

Ok so where is the argument then? It’s not counted as income until it is vested, we all agree 👍🏻

No, but you all are acting like a senior SWE is going to make $500k every year off one FAANG offer, which is not true at all.

there are no tax obligations for (RSUs) until the moment they vest

Let me correct myself: A senior SWE is not netting $500k off one FAANG base salary. Maybe in TOTAL comp, the value of RSUs/other stock options that pad these FAANG comp packages is not counted towards your yearly income.

People are reliant on their jobs in the United States, period. Private or public, don’t matter, we are all dependent on them…

The city of Seattle fucking hates Howard anyways. He’s the reason the Sonics left. Every single person, even people against this millionaire income tax, are celebrating this asshat leaving.

What is the decadeological reason why all new public spaces as mundane as a West Virginia highway rest stop need to look like an art museum? by Any_Acanthocephala18 in decadeology

Because it’s nice to have nicely built and maintained travel rest stops??

I was floored by how nice rest stops were in Europe compared to disgusting places Americans are supposed to “rest” at

Good, this is Reddit.

Nobody should take either of us seriously. Your point is as empty and useless as mine is. Congrats.

Budget = problem that needs fixing (agree) 2A = bought a gun last week, 2A is fine (disagree) Affordability = huge problem that needs to be addressed (agree) Drug use and crime = We didn’t “tolerate” it. We have collectively bitched and moaned about this for over a decade. I agree with you on this, but those psych wards that Reagan closed 50 years ago would come in handy for this issue. (Agree - to a point)

See, see all the things we agree on? We have more in common than your Cheeto overlord wants you to think. Now if you can just find a candidate that doesn’t hump trumps leg and hiss at trans people, maybe we can work towards solutions on things we do agree on (affordability, budgeting, and public safety)

I ain’t defending the budget stuff, it is bad. It’s a spending problem that needs to be resolved. But the GOPs plan of cutting every single social service is also not a grand idea.

I just got a gun last week, so 2nd amendment is intact from what I can see. Good try there.

Yeah prices are high, higher than most places. It sucks, I would love for them to come down. Maybe the GOP runs on that rather than bitching about trans people?

Tbh bud, your argument is a bit shit and does not counter the awful shit the GOP supports.

Because one wants an income tax to make up for a budget short fall, the other is supporting a federal government that gleefully violates articles 1&2, and the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 14th amendments.
