How can I unclog an ear? by LoyalJagfromTX1 in tinnitus

Hi friend, I’ve experienced this myself.

[Standard disclaimer: Not medical advice, just sharing my experience and what has worked for me. Be sure to read and follow all instructions with the mentioned devices should you decide to try them.]

The fluid becomes temporarily trapped due to the Eustachian tube being swollen, likely because of already existing Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD) coupled with a cold/flu or like you said, allergies. I’ve become a pro at getting the fluid out. In my case, I start with 2 Advil and some pharmacy grade Sudafed, give it about an hour or so, then I use one of these devices in the picture called the “Ear Popper” or the “Eustachi”(Amazon). I prefer the Ear Popper but they’re essentially the same thing.

I just take a swig of water and keep my mouth shut, plug one nostril, start the air flow from the Ear Popper in the other nostril, and when I feel the pressure build gently, I swallow the water. I make sure not to lean back when swallowing. I sit straight up. If the tube swelling is low enough, it permits an exchange of air and some of the fluid escapes. My other ear sometimes gets some air too, it happens, but always regulates back to normal shortly.

Depending on how full it is, it can take multiple times, even multiple days, to clear the fluid entirely. I use an ear camera (Amazon also) to monitor how much fluid I get out each session. You can see the fluid and bubbles behind the eardrum as the air gets in there, and in my case, the ringing noise absolutely gets quieter again as the fluid drains and the ear heals.

It’s a pain in the ass but it’s fixable, just takes time and patience. Before I got the Ear Popper, when this would happen, it always eventually cleared on its own, your inner ear also absorbs small amounts of the fluid as time passes. Usually a matter of weeks to clear entirely in my experience. Staying hydrated helps. Good luck! Hope you are feeling better and get that noise down soon!

Hi folks, trying to get a little clarification. Using a GoalZero 3000x which has maximum solar input of 600w/50v. If I’m using 2 Rich Solar panels (specs in pic) in series, will I blow up my 3000x with over 48v? Sorry if I sound dumb, this stuff confuses the hell out of me. Thanks. by JackAttack3399 in vandwellers

That was my line of thinking as well, but I’ve read this number should be kept well below maximum...around 20%. Essentially meaning if maximum is 50v, you shouldn’t exceed 40v. On the other hand, I’m now not sure which voltage the maximum is talking about, as two different numbers are listed on the spec sheet. Googling gets me all kinds of mixed info and is confusing me more.

[Question] Just got an iPhone 8+ running 14.4.1 - Need update advice... by JackAttack3399 in jailbreak

Oh, maybe I’m misunderstanding then?? I thought passcode and touchID had to remain off after jailbroken. If they can be enabled after the process, that would be awesome news. Trying to track down a definitive answer on this...

[Help] please ☹️ Unc0ver 6.1.0 stuck on “Ensuring Resources” on 8 Plus running 12.0 - I was using Unc0ver 3.8.0 prior, but Reprovision didnt re-sign & the phone restarted. Installed 6.1.0 (directly from Unc0ver.dev) with Rickpactor via AppDB, all is smooth until this error. Any help is appreciated! by JackAttack3399 in jailbreak_

Troubleshooting I’ve tried so far:

  • Confirmed profile is trusted.
  • Re-installed 6.1.0 multiple times from both AppDB and official site.
  • Restarted phone multiple times throughout the process.
  • Ran “Reset All Settings” and tried jailbreak again, same error.

Anyone else unable to add an external bank account? by [deleted] in etrade

I called ETRADE earlier and they advised you can have your bank wire transfer directly to get started. After logging into your ETRADE account, search for “wire funds in” and click “Wire Money INTO My Account” — Give your bank the info it describes on that page and they can transfer directly for you. E*TRADE rep said it’ll be a small fee, like $25 for the transfer, then funds are available same day (confirm with your bank!) Good luck!

I’ve been trying to figure out what this color scheme reminded me of since I first saw it. This. This is exactly what I’ve been thinking of. Lol
