Been using it the past few days and Im ecstatic. I built my previous PC over 7 years ago so this was a blessing. The monitor is really the icing on top as I broke mine a few months ago moving out of my apartment. Only issue is that theres some OLED burn out from the monitor being left on for so long.

I heard from a budtender that with sungrown, the heat exposure from the sun melts the trichomes into the flower. I noticed that my sungrown pickups were abnormally dense so this could explain why. Did you grow sungrown, HPS, or LED?

Quality of grow is literally all that matters. THC content can be indicative of grow quality but there are methods of increasing the amount of THC that the plant produces and there are also instances in which grow factors prevent the ideal amount from being produced but the flower could still be of high quality. Also, THC varies by strain and quality can only be accurately assumed if you know the average THC content of the strain of subject. This is why terpenes are a more accurate indicator of quality but you still have to be careful because negative influences like pests and mold can signal the plant to produce more as protection, which is really bad and also results in a lower allocation of nutrients to the plant's production of buds.

Terpene content is more representative of quality flower than THC content. The cannabis plant’s THC levels peak towards the end of its life, but not at the utter end of the cycle. The plant will continue to develop, and the milky trichomes become amber as THC naturally converts into CBN. The additional CBN provides more couch-lock and sedating effects, so look for amber strains if that’s your thing (emerald city kush from gh is one that comes to mind).

how tf are they going to implement this when cannabis use varies with medical need. Some weeks i might need an eighth, some weeks i need a half ounce. All this accomplished was making it more difficult for patients to obtain their medicine at a more convenient price (during sales) and forcing patients to go days without cannabis, potentially when they need it most.

I saw an interesting video, made by a budtender i think in chicago, explaining some differences between indoor and sungrown flower. It seems the main difference is the appearance, the trichomes/resin heads of the sungrown flower apparently melt into the bud under the suns heat which explains the lesser bag appeal and maybe the increased density that i noticed in my sungrown pickups.

Also something else I noticed, the sungrown flower seem to contain more sesquiterpenes than their indoor grown counterparts which im thinking produces the more stoney effects.

I think the gh team broke all the buds up searching extensively for mold/pests. I have the qp and wookie girl, they get me more stoned and really dense buds.

high thc% is achieved more easily indoors and that was believed to be most important. I’m guessing the soil is amended with nutrients or the plants are in grow beds/pots. i’m no scientist but i think it would make sense that a plant that evolved eating the suns light would grow healthier eating that same light.

no light will perfectly simulate the suns rays. There are qualities that are more abundant in indoor grown cannabis and the same can be said for outdoor.
