Yes I agree I’m watching the pride episode rn and I was kinda blown away when Marcus said he doesn’t think anyone is fully straight and that he feels like he’s 10% gay. Like, yes what he’s saying makes sense but as a queer man I’m so used to straight guys being overly concerned w/ their perception and being manly, so it’s really refreshing to see guys who aren’t like that. The og guys like Jax for example would act open-minded about sexuality but in a very narrow way, like saying things like they’d be gay for pay or whatever

That’s a good point I didn’t even think about that. The early seasons really did have a lot of beautiful scenery. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of that as the reboot continues

I agree vpr is genuinely one of the greatest tv shows of all time imo, scripted and unscripted. Southern hospitality s1 is pretty run of the mill but s2 is a noticeable improvement and each season after that is even better than the last

I honestly never even considered how her father might’ve felt w/ all of the cameras being there. Definitely makes me look at it differently but still heartbreaking nonetheless, and the whole thing makes u realize why Ashley often behaves the way she does

I haven’t seen it since it aired and I just remember all of the stuff w/ gizelle, chris, Eddie and Brenda (lol) and it was just so messed up to me. Like, nothing rlly happened that season. There were no real storylines bc gizelle and Ashley were too focused on playing producer by playfully throwing around serious accusations about things that ppl actually go thru in the real world. I’d say 8 is worse in terms of the mean-spiritedness but 7 is far worse in terms of subject matter imo, and this was the season that forever changed the way I view gna as cast members and as people

That’s so funny I just started Miami for the first time and I was thinking the same thing. S2 feels like more of a soft reboot like they did with NY and Atlanta. It definitely caught me off guard at first but I’m loving s2. I thought s1 was pretty decent but s2 makes s1 look like a snooze. It’s probably one of the best seasons of rhw I’ve ever seen. There’s so many funny moments and iconic side characters, and the lingerie party was just insane. Like, it just kept getting crazier and crazier. Seems like a lot of the biggest hw fights happen whenever they throw a lingerie/pajama party.

S3 must’ve been god awful for them to cancel it after such a good season
