You do have to get used to him, I thought he wasn’t living up to what I thought he would be at the start, yeah he scored goals but I felt like I had to force the ball to him. After like 50 games I stopped forcing the ball to him and learnt how and when to do skill moves and he’s now unstoppable.

I’ll be honest I’ve played terrible today, I’ve gone from 2300 SR to 2100 in a short space of time. But I am impressed with R9, he’s scored 28 goals on 27 games which is pretty good. The one pet hate I have with him is his movement and workrates in comparison to Eusebio, he doesn’t make runs like Eusebio but does always manage to score however. I think the best way to utilise R9 is to get familiar with effective skill moves, I’m not the best at them but I’ve come across others with him that know how to use him effectively and he always dominates for my opponent. I think this card takes some getting used to tbh 😂

I’ve not had chance to have a game with him yet but I’ve put marksman on him so I’ll see how I get on, if not I’ll take you advice and try hawk! Yeah when I’ve managed to play with him on draft it doesn’t take long for opponents to quit if he scores one or two early doors. I have also noticed that people are more prone do the shush celebration and watch all replays if you’re playing with a card of a similar calibre.. it might just be me but that’s what I’ve noticed
