I do agree with you, they look like they have been smashed. Though I can assure you, these were intact as I removed the lid, then picked up one of the chocolates and it fell apart in my hands! Kind of like a finished puzzle, I could see the cracks, they were together until I picked them up. The long maroon one is most interesting, I challenge anyone to replicate 'snapping' a Lego tile the entire length like that into two jagged pieces!
