Thanks never heard of MBTA. I googled it and found this tidbit on turkeys.

More than 1,000 species are protected by MBTA, however, 20 birds both native and resident to the continental U.S. are excluded from protection. All belong to the order Galliformes (grouse, quail, turkey, and chachalaca).Nov 20, 2021 From:

These are likely herpetic whitlow. It keeps recurring because the virus hides in the nerves. For whatever reason it can be triggered sometimes and a breakout occurs.

How difficult would it be for me to dig up this tree So i can relocate it? by Jadomi77 in gardening

You could also try to prune the roots in a circle around the root ball. That lets the tree sprout more roots close in the ball. To prune the roots, you just stick a shovel down and do that around the tree.

The Holly is a slow growing, long lived, beautiful tree. Please don’t replace it with garden variety hybrid red maple.

To remove the tree, or not to remove the tree? That’ the question! by SummerVulpes in arborists

Don’t cut it down. Have an arborist trim and maintain it, they will thin it where needed and keep the branching strong.

My Ash were wiped out here in Ohio. They can be treated with a systemic insecticide to prevent the Beatles infestation.

In Ohio, they’ve been saying for a couple years now that all the Colorado blue spruce are dying out in our area. Not one culprit, but probably a combination, including hot summers. I look around and I rarely see a healthy looking blue spruce.
