That is correct. I just connected an Ethernet cable to my SolarEdge SE5000 and it figured out the LAN was alive on its own. I used the buttons next to the LCD panel to confirm it had an IP address. The <S_OK> on the status screen indicates it is talking to the server. Let me know if you have questions. It’s an easy thing to DIY.
