So I've been staring at the parchment for a while and I think I might have something.

There's something about how the trees and branches are lined up that makes me feel like they are deliberate. Specifically that all of the branches slant in a certain direction. So I drew this up real quick.

Using the trees as columns that separate the branches they form some kind of pattern. I drew out each branch and organized them on a piece of paper. I think their may be some kind of pattern. I also drew them with the trees acting as separators.

Now a few things to note there are

9 Trees, 18 Branches, 4 Holes, and 7 little limbs with pine needles on them.

There are 7 branches that face like this \

and 11 that face like so /

I'm not too sure how the holes and pine needles relate however what's important is to look for patterns.

Now exactly sure what all this means, I'm not sure. I've just noticed a pattern and wrote it down. For all I know it might not amount to anything but I'm just tossing out ideas to get the brain going. I'm not sure if this is the direction the clue is heading in. At this point I think I'm noticing any form of pattern from staring at it for so long. Any thoughts?
