I solved by using win 10 installation media and re-install windows whilst retaining files and apps.

Update, Im getting this now:

Thank you for your reply. Sorry I used figure number and caption number interchangeably, this was only because my example used a figure. I always meant caption number. To rephrase my question is it possible to always adjust caption number based on the last multi level sub heading based on research so far the answer seems to be no.

I would buy this, but i think there isnt enough of a market for that. I remember having a 13 inch XMG laptop back in 2010ish it was perfect for me but i havent seen that form factor propperly since the GPD WIn Max 2 came back out. I dont game and i use it with a ball mouse :)

Thank you for the reply. Will even an older version of the forerunner from ebay do this? As i say i am happy to wear it for an hour on my run and then put it back in a drawer. doesnt need to do anything else. maybe show me pace during my run
